- Alex GherzoApril 9, 2013I love this place! The ribs are outstanding. Also, they serve Lone Star, a really good beer from Texas (if you plan to have a few, you can get a bucket of 'em). On Orchard, just off East Houston.
- TomJuly 1, 2017The portions are insanely generous & the food is so good you can't stop eating. I always leave stuffed & feeling like I'm about to go in labor. Try the chicken & ribs platter. It comes w/ 2 sides too
- Benjamin La MadridJune 25, 2015OMG this place is amazing in every way!! The service was great AND just 1 fabulous waitress. The pulled pork with garlic mashed potatoes taste like sunday dinner!!
- The Corcoran GroupNovember 17, 2011Great place to come with a big group of friends for a family style BBQ dinner for just $25 per person. Get a full rack of ribs and start with the BBQ wings!
- ᴡ KogutAugust 8, 2014Sampson wings are amazing to start. Ribs and pulled pork with sides were awesome too. Special flash fried Brussel sprouts were soooo good too
- Heath TerrySeptember 13, 2011The family style dinner option is like nothing I've ever seen anywhere else in New York. Get a group of friends and feast on more fried chicken, ribs, mac & cheese, and collards than you can handle.
- Best BBQ in NYC. Probably. Also, as I walked in, I was listening to a track off wu-tang forever that I haven't listened to for years, and the exact same song was playing when I walked in. Mental.
- dsinskyMay 18, 2014The $25 group reservation price fix is one of the best deals in the city. Great fried chicken and smothered fries.
- Really love the pulled pork, but you gotta get the platter. More meat and an extra side for like $2!
- Kyle FowlerAugust 30, 2014The ribs plate is awesome and it's a ton of food. Make sure you come hungry and bring cash!
- Kate FurmanMay 3, 2015Order online on their website instead of seamless. Seamless upcharges a few dollars per item on delivery or takeout.
- scott ...January 16, 2016Ribs plate is tasty. And massive. Almost as many bones as there are counties in Georgia.
- Best fried chicken in my life. For sides, pray that they're serving mac n' cheese, otherwise go with the potato salad and baked beans.
- Jenna McCloskeyNovember 18, 2014I've only ever gotten delivery from here, but it is always on point. I love the rib sandwich!
- Zack DavenportJuly 30, 2014Go for the fried chicken dinner. Even if it's the morning, always go for the dinner.
- Elias BizOctober 19, 2016Good selection and reasonably priced with generous portions. Cash only is annoying though.
- Kyle MeloneyJune 22, 2012Awesome BBQ spot when I am missing the great state of Georgia (despite this place being named after a dog, not the state).
- Best ribs I've had in NYC. Don't get the sampler, you'll just want more ribs.
- Zak SchwarzmanMarch 12, 2011I would male big fat southern babies with this place. Honestly, get whatever you can, ribs, fried chicken, sweet potato mash and leave room for Abita and Colt 45
- Tiny spot with no bathroom but some of the best ribs in the city!
- Jon CoffeltJune 29, 2010Georgias is great food. I thought it was Southern cousine due to it's name. I was correct albeit, it actually was named after their dog Georgia. The vegetables here are Awesome! Fried Chicken WOW!
- Yonatan FeldmanJune 16, 2012Fried chicken sandwich, fried chicken, tomato cucumber salad, biscuits with honey butter, chocolate mousse.
- Anthony StancilSeptember 20, 2012Sample platter is a great choice. I prefer the sampson wings as oppose to the bbq. Love all.
- Ian BorgApril 12, 2010Great people. Great food. Great music. Great atmosphere. I love this place! Get a rib sandwich and a pbr and enjoy!!! Check me out on twitter @staykreative
- Great BBQ only if you're willing to walk down the street into a nasty dive to use the bathroom. Stick with takeout.
- Sue RissbergerDecember 18, 2013Super crispy fried chicken that satisfies your craving; fries to perfection.
- Quinton MaFebruary 29, 2012The fried chicken with collard greens and cornbread is ridiculously good. Ask for a side of honey!
- Kimberly-Lyn PressmanJanuary 28, 2013Has a special pigskin package - perhaps they have a secret stash of chicken wings
http://www.georgiaseastsidebbq.com/ - Umair ZiaJanuary 22, 2018Nothing special. Maybe I am a Texas bbq snob and sauced up meats are not my preference but I had much better east coast bbq around NYC. Don't get me wrong: Not bad, but I can make this at home.
- great meat and great meat-tasting veggies. their happy hour M-F 3-5PM you can get sammich for $5
- Michelle CottleOctober 16, 2013I had the pulled pork, baked beans, collard greens and cole slaw. Nothing impressed me... And the baked beans tasted just like Bush's baked beans... Just sayin'. Overall I was disappointed.
- Karin RendelmanMarch 18, 2011It's good...especially when I've had drinkssssss...and my friend here ate the collards so I didn't have too :) Back to the bar!!
- Update: the best BBQ in NYC. Better than fette sau by a long way.
- Adrien LJuly 22, 2015This place is cash only. No bathroom, but you can use the ones at Skinny's a stone throw away.
- Damien DupontMay 2, 2010The pulled pork was juicy and tasty. And they didn't drown it in sauce, which is key. It was 7 bucks which for NYC isn't too bad. The lemonade was good too.
- Ronda YvetteOctober 13, 2017Whatever you do, don't get the catfish! It's some sort of breaded, frozen BS!
- The ribs are worth a try. Fried chicken plate a must. And sweet tea = amazing
