I love that they host events like the Black Harvest Film Festival but they have the most horrible seats. Folks end up literally between your legs because they lean back so far

Pros: The films are great, as are the prices (if you're a member or a student), and they sell beer. Cons: The seats aren't very comfy and the entrance smells like pee.
Amazing schedule of first run films, retrospectives, and special programs. It's worth the money to be a member

If you can't make it 2 a show, it's a great goto recommendation list when DVD hunting!- The membership here is totally worth it. $5 movies and 4 free popcorns is worth the $50 or so price tag. Best movie house in Chicago in my opinion: programming and venue.
