Lovely hotel by scenicriver view. Spaciouscomfy rooms. Near MGM (free shuttle),Tangiers Outlet & nearby restaurants/shops. Nice breakfast atrium area w good buffet & great service.
Amazing hotel. If you are there for a special occasion, mention when you check in. We had an amazing room on the 17th floor, dead center of the atrium. Our room gave an amazing view of everything
Beautiful hotel that has every amenity under the sun. Great pool and views. The surrounding area is awesome with tons of great restaurants. I suggest eating out because restaurants are very expensive
Fancyhotel that's open to the public. Offers an ambient atmosphere, while also being the home to a multitude of events, most notably the Holiday Ice Show! Right off the Potomac and near everything!
Probably one of my favorite hotels, all time. Fancy and awesome. If you can, ask for suite 5-217. Best in the entire hotel. 400 sq foot balcony! Nicest room I've ever been in. Like the Savoy in London
This place is awesome. Great staff, nice rooms, attention to detail and an indoor atrium that blows the mind. Convenient to everything by water, shuttle or taxi. This is my new DC go-to place.
Go down to the waterfront to see "The Awakening," public art built into the beach. The man is buried under the sand and his foot, knee, face and hand are part of the playground for kids to play on.
The name "National Harbor" is a bit of a misnomer... Nowhere near DC and there isn't much to do in or around this bio-dome hotel. It's actually probably cheaper to stay downtown too....
Nice eateries...scenery...events...club spot and plenty of spots around the area to have a good time for adults and families...check it out and let me know what you think!
Glad the fam brought me here...Nice spot and will come back again...even if its not to stay but just chill and enjoy the club spot as well as the eateries and events.
They had an amazing Christmas program called Ice. The rooms are nice. A huge con is that the bars and restaurants are WAY overpriced! The good news is that you can walk to several restaurants.
The entire staff has been beyond spectacular and friendly. I especially like the Consider It Done yellow smiley button the phones. Great marketing and superior service.
Looking to save a dime...park at any of the nearby parkinggarages and check out happy hour at any of the nearby (outside resort) restaurants. Grace's is a winner. Public House is also worth a trip fo
They should make maps available at the desk. This place is huge. The rooms are nice and there are breathtaking views of the Potomac if you are lucky to get a room facing that way.
This place books out very often. If you can't get a place see if your work colleagues can share a room and get free wifi and use of facilities till a room frees up for you to check into.
Large convention center..service has been attentive and pleasant except for the staff at the Belvedere lobby bar.....bring comfyshoes as you will be doing a lot of walking.
Great atmosphere. Recommend sitting by the fountain in the atrium and relax for a while. Rooms without atrium views don't have anything great to look at out the window but room is comfortable.
If you have to stay here, hit the restaurants outside the resort for real value of dining experience. The prices for food & drink inside are inflated, with low quality and indifferent service at best.
I stayed at the Gaylord for the Blogalicious Weekend Conference on October 21-23, 2011. The banquet, bell desk, and concierge were very helpful when I had face to face interactions with them.
If you're only there for conferences it's much cheaper to use public parking (7+hrs is a flat $11) is. Say hi to my mom "Adelaida" if you visit the Pienza :)
I have one sentence to describe the Gaylord: A pretty hotel with good food, friendly staff, NO HEAT in rooms, NO HOT WATER in bathroom sinks in room, poor shuttle service, and lots of drama!
If you're here for the 2011 NAIS show, stop by One Call Nows booth and say hi to Josh. If you're here for anything else, you have to try their carrot cake!!
Vacation in style at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. This riverfront hotel near Washington, D.C. offers thoughtful amenities, including a 19-story glass atrium, indoor terrace, fountain show, full-service spa and seven on-site restaurants.
