Their lemonpoppy seeddonut was awesome! The texture is soft and doughy. My little brother loved it too. Will be back to try their almond/maple next time. Iced coffee was good but nothing special.
A craft coffee staple in NYC. A stand-style storefront, with an open view and only half a dozen seats. Intelligenstia house brew, great pastries, and punch cards.
Big fan of espresso and these guys did not disappoint. Small space, accessible from either Lafayette or Mulberry street. Cappuccino was excellent. They move fast, so great stop before work.
Literally stumble in due to heavy rain. Ended up not only with great coffee but also walked out with a bag of beans. Baristas know their craft and cool interior! Small and only a few seats.
Friendly baristas and great lattes. Minimal seating, but the window seats are great for reading (though not working on a laptop) or people-watching on a nice day.
It's the little things in life but sometimes I like to come here just so I can enter through one door and leave through the other. Their cortado is pretty good.
Friendly staff who taught me her fav toddy brew coffee & nice decoration + music. The South American blend held in compostable paper cups & lids = more sustainable . Plain croissant amazing
Espresso drinks are top notch, and the service is outstanding. No bathroom, super limited seating, but without a doubt, the best caffeine fix in the area for a grab-and-go cup.
Small shop with a few stools and outdoor benches. Super friendly and the music was on point. Ginuwine's "Pony" while sipping my latte? Don't mind if I do!
Their iced coffee is crack-strong, and unlike La Columbe across the street, there's rarely a crazy line. No place to sit but grab one to go and beeline to Washington Square Park.
Great, priceycafe. Coffee is "cleaner" (in mouth feel, not sanitation) & espresso/icedcoffee is less bitter than similar boutiques like La Colombe. It's efficiency makes up for the hipster vibe.
Very good coffee and tasty treats such as Coconut Alfajores and triple chocolate chip cookies...Also great for people watching outside the window overlooking Lafayette Street
Simple set up, perfect for an "on the go". A couple chairs outside, not designed for you to try and set up your 'mobile office'. Great coffee, and wholesome baked goods!
Unfortunately they commit the two greatest sins a coffee shop can. First, using an iPad POS that isn’t Square. And second, giving you your coffee in a to-go cup when you say you’re staying.
I'm a tea person & they strangely only do kombucha. So I only go for the Doughdonuts. They're *glorious*. If you're a coffee drinker continue on to either of the La Colombes north or south of here.
