get the yuk-hoe (the small portion is plenty), the dolsot bibimbap with galbi, and one table barbecue dish. this is more than enough food for two people and very reasonably priced!
Definitely worth the experience. Highly recommend the duck and bulgogi. Drinks are also very strong but I'd stay away from the tequila drinks 😵 and make sure to request a window seat when RSVPing
Mushroom app & pancake sampler to start, BBQ shrimp & pork belly mains then Snickersbar to end on a high! Go for sunset & atmosphere. Food was polished not traditional Korean & more pricey but good
Beautiful views from tables by the window. Order the pancake sampler, beef tartare, kalbi (short ribs). For dessert, deconstructed snickers is on point. Order a glass of Fiery Julep.
Love the sea food here. Must have sea bass & lamb very well done and their assorteded condiments are just perfect. Great setting for birthday celebrations & groups too. Not too pricey.
The “nice” Korean spot. Prime cuts. Great view. Platonic ideal of Korean food? Prob not. Good place to take fancy guests/dates. Not your #1 for Korean food in general.
Start with the pancake sampler, go with the marinated short ribs for BBQ, and don't forgo dessert. Eat all the desserts. Unbelievable views of the city to boot.
Request a table by the window for panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline; the food is higher quality than the rest of KTown; for a party of 4, get the BBQ combo #1 and 2 bowls of dolsot bibimbap
Indeed beautiful yet typical NYC night skyline. We had wines&deserts. The Spanish Rioja was honestly quite good. The deserts were decent. Would take out-of-Town visitors here for a drink to see views.
Great place for romantic or special occasiondinner where you want upscale place and fantastic view but not break bank like the $$$$ places. It's also only Asian restaurant in city with a view.
Very classly Korean restaurant. We got their combo bbq and the meat had a nice marble. Don't expect unlimited side dishes or eggcasserole or soft tofu soup. It's geared towards fine dining customers.
Get a table by the window for an incredible view. Great food, great service, and an amazing selection of Tavalon tea! They also have green tea ice cream and biscuits...a must try!
Because it's on the 39th floor it has an amazing view. Very limited menu compared to most places in ktown. I recommend getting the duck breast for bbq.
The setting is made to deeply impress. I've had friends who have had amazing food experiences here. For me, the food was good but not spectacular, but I made a special memory here nonetheless.
soo jeong kwa (poached Korean pear with cinnamon chantilly, yakgwa, and ginger ice cream), have a certain Cirque du Soleil quality. The cocktails aren’t bad, but soju is really the way to go.
Come for unbeatable views of NYC + delicious Korean staples. Try the tasty kalbi (BBQ beef short ribs) and naengmyun (spicy cold buckwheat noodles). For more, follow us on 4sq or www.renhotels.com.
The kalbi jjim is the best short ribs I've had anywhere (sorry Mom!). Request a table by the windows - gorgeous view! And if you've got a tall party, you may want to avoid the booths.
Fun with friends, great view (agreed with others, request when you make the res) and accept that there may be more authentic Korean fare down the block for a quarter of the price. Not the point.
The service was amazing! Asked for a window seat through the open table app and got it. Our server was very helpful and knowledgable. Table BBQ is definitely a must!
Grab a table by the windows, start with the haemul pajeon, make sure to order the marinated galbi, and of course don't forget a bottle (or three) of chamisul.
Good for drinks just to see the view. Nothing else. Overpriced food. You're in the Heart of ktown with the best prices, food and Korean BBQ. Coming here will be a huge mistake. Go to New Wonjo
Tip: Eat galbisliders and the other bar snacks on the northeast side of the room, with its impressive view of the Empire State Building. http://bit.ly/TkfMQm
