One of the symbols of Istanbul, it was once a watch tower and a prison, now you can go up to get an aerial view of Istanbul - lift up to a certain point then have to walk up two flights of stairs.

Just walk along the narrow streets, make loads of photos and then come to this tower and enjoy an awesome view of Istanbul from the top of it.
Galata Tower is one of the most iconic symbols of Istanbul. It also features to be one of the highest and oldest towers of the city. Well worth doing in late afternoon or sunset otherwise skip it.

Volga NehriJuly 13, 2019Go and climb the ladders. İt takes only five minutes to reach an amazing İstanbul view. The only worst thing is to wait the line for 45 min and it worths. Go early in the Morning (09 or 10 am)
