Showed up right at 6pm for a quick drink. 7 drinks (amongst 2 people) and 15,000 Yen later, I can assure you this is one of the best cocktail bars in the world.

One of my favorite spots in Tokyo. The small bars & old school streets are unique & fun. Read signs to find one that doesn't charge a cover and isn't locals only. Looked like most bars open after 6.
What a great jazz bar. Owner Kobayashi-san has more than 11,000 records here - chat to him, he is actually very friendly. This place is a music library, where added bonuses are whiskey and smoke.

There's no English menu or much English spoken but the restaurant people are the sweetest ever and will guide you as best they can. AMAZING shabu shabu. All grades of meat are fantastic.
Fu-Unji. Simple put, the best ramen I've ever had thus far. Get the 950Yen Tsukemen and take a seat. Separate plates for broth and noodles which is nice. Leave with the biggest smile on your face.

Oh my. The famous and majorly fantastic oyakudon (850yen) and chicken nanban (780 yen)! So bloody delicious! Free roasted green tea! So delicious! Came at 1230pm and the restaurant was almost full!

We see you survived the Narita Express. Welcome to the center of the city! The Marunouchi South exit is the best for walking over to the Imperial Palace or down Naka-dori street with its big shops.
