Alex KeslingApril 26, 2015Go for brunch and get the Shakshuka. Not mind-blowing, but solid with a dash of salt. Half way through, order a side of fries... and dump them in your leftover harissa red sauce at the end. Delicious.

Erik CintronDecember 16, 2011It famous for coffe but had great food and great assortment of beer and nice humble comfy spot to eat that easily missable but thanks i didn't staff was friendly and knowledgable- Good spot to get some work done. In the back room, the back-right seat has a plug. I'm told there's another seat at the bar with power. Free WiFi.

7 out of 10 times I will end up having the Gratinee L'oignon Soup and the Croque Madame! It's delicious. You are welcome.

One of my all-time favorite places to chow down any time- day or night. Personally, I always go for the duck if it's available!- For something light and healthy, go for the arugula salad. Lemon, olive oil, and grana pedano.

If French Roast starts to feel like a cutesy French-themed cafe, recall it as Jack Nicholson's hangout in "As Good As It Gets." Or rent the DVD.
