Excellent beer selection and a nice backyard when the weather is good. The only thing I would change is the free popcorn. Grab some pretty cheap (about $8) top shelf bourbon or rye and head out to the garden. Just be sure to get it neat or ice on the side!
Global HighlanderJanuary 1, 2015They have an extensive draft beer selection, a great pub for conversing with friends, and the interior is quite dark. They have free popcorn and old bay seasoning (though I do not recommend seasoning)

Amazing list of craft brews. Chill spot on weekend afternoons with a good outdoor space in the back. Free popcorn and they also leave out Old Bay seasoning :)- Pretty much the best bar in NYC. Best beers, great bartenders, free popcorn, what else so you want? It gets a bit packed which is lame, but I can't blame them. It's tops.

Have some popcorn on a bench & write something on the bathroom wall.- Stop in Wednesday September 18th at 7pm as we tap our keg of Smuttynose & Stone's Cluster's Last Stand IPA! come in 19th Century and get Happy Hour prices all night long!
Ask the bartender about beers. They are great and will give you tastes. Plus chalk in bathrooms is perfect for voicing you opinion on all matters defecation.

Not sure what you want to drink? The super-attentive bartenders here will craft you a drink from scratch to meet your needs. I've had a few specially-made drinks here and they're always great.

Delirium on tap & free popcorn. The bar is usually really hot inside though, go to the backyard if you can.
If you want the most amazing food of your life, hit up Bogota on 5th Ave for brunch (weekends).- Come in and try a Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Rouge 66 Imperial Belgian Red IPA. I helped brew it. 4/21/12
