Ray Foss: When it comes to food and shakes, this is possibly the best vegan cafe in CNY. They have, pizza's, sandwiches and hearty salads, and of course, "to die for" shakes.
Ray Foss: AAA Fried Tofu, the best in town. Their boxes make a great meal. Stylish red and black decor. The place is a bit small, but otherwise this place is one of my favorites.
Ray Foss: This is a MUST visit for any vegans. Great eggplant, mock meat, mock Eel and great seasonings. For a chinese restaurant, it's decor is only second to P.F. Changs. ASK FOR THE VEGETARIAN MENU.

Ray Foss: With the Super Vegan, the BBQ tofu and the Angelito burrito, you can't go wrong. Their breakfast scrambled tofu is one of the best options around.
Ray Foss: Another king davids, better then the one in Marshall. With added Vegan items. The falafels have a better texture to them. The atmosphere is also much improved.

Ray Foss: Love their BBQ Tofu Tacos... you can also make them make an Alto Cinco BBQ Tofu burrito. Great drinks too. It's less cozy than Alto but definitely worth a visit or three.

Ray Foss: Lots of vegan baked goods, and a surprisingly delicious and filling Tofurky sandwich with veganaise, avocado and mustard. Very nice place to chill if you are in Westcott.
Ray Foss: Bagels with vegan cheese, rice cakes and dim lighting make this a very nice vegan stop. This place has one of the most relaxed atmospheres you can find in Syracuse. They also have "to die for" desert.
Ray Foss: Blackbean and Fallafel pitas with a fast food feel. Can't decide? Try a Falafel+hummus+onion+bbq+tahini+asparagus+pepper+special sauce for a strong memorable pita.

Ray Foss: Tofu flat bread, Falafel flatbread, or the mediterranean platter... all are good. The waiters are knowledgable and the decor is well done. It has an atmosphere like no other in Syracuse.
Ray Foss: For Vegans, they offer several rolls, 3 types of korean/japanese tofu, and possibly dumplings. Unfortunately, my waiter was not up to date on the vegan items. Well thought out decor.
Ray Foss: Good eggplant (specify that you want it vegan). Their plates come in larger then usual proportions. They also have a buffet during certain hours.

Ray Foss: They have very good BBQ Tofu plates, tamales, and chips. The decor is little cheesy, but overall it's a great place. If you're into fresh hot sauces, ask for the spice shuttle.
Ray Foss: The healthiest of the SU area chinese restaurants. Delivers vegan vegetable rolls and very decent tofu. They also have great party platters. Best enjoyed by delivery or pickup.
Ray Foss: Good place to sit down. They have all the vegan options you expect from the average chinese restaurant. The veggie rice has egg, but you can ask for it without. The rolls are made with egg.
Ray Foss: Another chinese delivery restaurant, with an unusually good General Tso's tofu. It's a bit greasy, but it's also one of the best tasting around the area. Perhaps second to alto cinco.
Ray Foss: They have a couple of good vegan sushi rolls and edamame. Their rice is very impressive and well seasoned. Not many options vegans, but enough for a meal. The decor is very well done.
Ray Foss: Great vegan spinach, lentils and mushrooms. Look no further than the Veggie curry section, most of everything else is cheese or meat based. Not a very vegan-educated staff. Mixed decor.
Ray Foss: One of the few places that will deliver edamame, and it's not bad. It's also the only place with an all day Tofu, Rice and a Coke special for under $6. No vegan rolls :/
Ray Foss: Their tofu is unique. They make it soft and thin, unlike any other in the area. The Szechuan and Tso's sauces are decent. No vegan rolls offered. Overall, a very average chinese delivery restaurant.
Ray Foss: Very good tofu, great atmosphere, great alcohol menu. It's definitely on the high end. They do have a lot of meat on their menu, but at least it's locally sourced, or so they say.
Ray Foss: If you like pastabilities pasta you'll like this place. The marinara penne with a side of grilled asparagus will leave a good impression. Almost all sauces are not vegan. Good atmosphere and decor.
Ray Foss: Portion sizes are insane. All of the ingredients are well seasoned. For vegans, this means you can compromise a quesadilla by cutting the cheese* and still end up with a very unique dish. Fun decor.
Ray Foss: For vegans, they make a mean portobello. You can add that to a pasta. With a side of broccoli. The waiters know vegans. Your options are very limited. Great drinks, decor and atmosphere though.
Ray Foss: They have a vegan sub. I'ts made out of vegan veggie patties. It's tasty, but not too surprising. If there is a thing called "College Atmosphere" than this has it.
Ray Foss: They have a vegan "pizza", mind you it has no tomato sauce or cheese. A bit of a stubborn bunch. Diner / college atmosphere. Barebones decor.

Ray Foss: They have a vegan veggie burger, there is that. And it's not particularly good. Really not where you would want to eat as a vegan. Busy bar like atmosphere and decor.
Mexican Restaurant · Downtown Syracuse · 54 tips and reviews
Ray Foss: They've added a BBQ tofu burrito to their Vegan offerings. Their fajitas with zucchini and spices aren't half bad. Pro tip: Ask for the "Spice Shuttle"
