- The Corcoran GroupAugust 27, 2013From the folks behind Houston Hall, this more intimate beer garden in the beer cellar has great soft pretzels. This place hasn't gotten too hyped up yet, so check it out before the crowds form.
- Christopher SandøySeptember 4, 2014Tried it a midweek and the atmosphere was authentic, although a bit on the noisy/vocal side for a European, and the food and beer really good (fries were especially great!). A definite recommendation!
- Meg FarmerMarch 22, 2016Great place to meet up w/ an eclectic group of friends. Central location, solid beer list, cocktails for the ladies, TVs to catch a game, but w/out a rowdy crowd. All in all a great atmosphere.
- Lots of seating downstairs. Once you walk in, walk to the back and the stairs are on the left.
- Christen ClinkscalesFebruary 9, 2015Great hang out spot for a couple after work beers and apps or a night out with friends. Definitely get the pretzel with beer cheese. The tacos are surprisingly delicious as well.
- Erik CintronAugust 29, 2015This a giant hall filled with long cafeteria tables. 2 floors. It had good house beer with 3 sizes that are fairly priced. Food was fun & good little pricey. Nice decor exposed brick with old pics.
- MicheleJuly 23, 2015Great place to meet up with some friends to drink beer and get a few appetizers. We all loved the decor and the staff was super friendly. Chicken tikka masala won tons were so yummy.
- Lella CirMay 19, 2018The giant pretzel was very good, and the Burger Royale has perfectly balanced flavor. Great atmosphere and really unique menu!

- Brew YorkOctober 23, 2013Sister to downtown's Houston Hall, this bar offers house-exclusive beers brewed at Greenpoint Beer Works in Brooklyn and some tasty pub food to pair. Sneak a peek at the cool basement beer cellar.
- Ray LopesAugust 25, 2016I had amazing IPA, APA and Oatmeal Stout craft beers. Nice environment. Worth a visit, I'm coming back for sure!
- Jerry JosephOctober 16, 2017Great free photo setup downstairs with good lighting... just wish it was slightly lower to capture more of us than the background.
- SparkieJanuary 20, 2014Mahogany and lined with unmarked taps. The walls: adorned with faded paintings. The chandeliers: all halo-y. Greenpoint-brewed house beers, including a 12% ABV caramel-and-toffee-tinged Quad Bock.
- Nicolette RuthApril 16, 2018I had the Mac & Cheese which was delicious. My husband had the grilled cheese burger with garlic tater tots which was also delicious. Good Pilsner too!
- Adam SchuitJune 10, 2015Good for either a beer with friends or even a date. Their chicken entree is actually amazing. Check out their bar downstairs for more room and picnic table seating
- TribecaApril 7, 2014In honor of the Tribeca Film Festival, try the "Burnham's Folly", a cocktail with a bit of spice, featuring BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Gin, GREY GOOSE® le Poire, cucumber, jalapeño, lemon, and orange.
- Julia KwanFebruary 2, 2015Great place for groups! Highlights: Ginger beer cocktail, tater tots, chicken masala dumplings, wings!
- Untapped CitiesNovember 16, 2014The hall features beer specifically from Greenpoint breweries that only serve Flatiron Hall and its big brother, Houston Hall. The food is delicious, especially the pastrami Ruben spring rolls. Read more
- Tiffany JohnsonMarch 24, 2013Went here for my boo's birthday. Ambience was nice and cozy like a speakeasy. Good live music, good wait staff. Will definitely be visiting this nice bar again ;-)
- Cool place. The beer is all Greenpoint Beer Works, very solid but nothing life changing. Same goes for the food. Worth checking out if you're in the area.
- The basement has lots of space for big groups. I always get their orange blossom beer it's nice and light and you can order a small portion.
- Maritsa PatrinosSeptember 5, 2013A huge amount of space and the staff are super friendly. However, like many places on this block, they have to kick people out at MIDNIGHT, so not an ideal spot if you're planning a big night out.
- Mason McCoySeptember 7, 2014Head down to the cellar if you can't find a spot upstairs. The menu features several pub snack classics that are good for sharing with friends.
- Lisa LJanuary 18, 2015A+ beer list, great spot for groups. Be aware, the house tequila is actually spicy, a fun fact the bartender did not disclose to me.
- Jen MoshJuly 27, 2015Good beer selection, and the foods delicious!! Bartenders could be friendlier...but overall a fun place to check out with friends..
- KESeptember 30, 2016Went mid-week at 7. It was crowded/very loud. Even in the corner booth it was hard to hear each other over the noise. The space is cool, pumpkin ale was awesome, pretzel - huge & shareable w/ 2 dips.
- Nick AvaglianoAugust 29, 2014Must try their deviled eggs, homemade jumbo pretzels, and burgers/fries. Incredible! Fantastic selection of homebrewed beers!
- Corey DineenJanuary 14, 2016The pretzels are awesome, great beer from a local contract brewer. Midweek after work isn't too crowded so great for after work drinks.
- UzoNYCMay 25, 2014Another new opening on 26th Street that makes for a great after work spot. Beer selection is decent, but not the best, for a Beer Garden.
http://www.uzonyc.com/?p=793 - Lenny GalloAugust 6, 2015Steak Sandwich is excellent. Not much on the menu that I wouldn't try. Be careful after 5:00 when all the business men come here to drink the night away.
- Trivia on Monday nights in the basement! big space, rotating beer list. Food is good! Don't waste your time on the cocktails.
- San SanDecember 9, 2016Beer hall. Wood decor...pretty. Make their own beers. Orange blossom beer tastes great. Light
- Alex RichardsJuly 30, 2015A nice place. But beware drinks are expensive, it is always busy and the is no where to sit. The staff get funny if you sty to sit anywhere. Food is great here though.
- Colin DuRantFebruary 8, 2020I’ve only been for Monday trivia in the beer cellar, but that’s been a great time every time I’ve attended. Beer is decent.
- Melissa RosenthalAugust 15, 2015Always packed, but great food and beer selection. Highly recommended for after work events.
- Kate WillskyMarch 18, 2016Overpriced, but that's par for the course in this area. Downstairs is good for big groups if you get there early enough to snag a table.
- Diane Jean-MaryJune 21, 2016Spacious beer hall, a bit noisy but great to grab a drink/snack with friends or coworkers
- Carmen NJanuary 22, 2015Good burger. Good pretzel. Good Dunkel. Seasoned Old Fashioned also pretty good. 👍

- Gerard McNultyJuly 31, 2013The beer hall in the basement is awesome!!! This place should be rocking at night!!! Great microbrew beers!!!
- Yera HaSeptember 9, 2014The giant pretzel is light, fluffy, and delicious. Get one to share with friends!
- TK 🍦🍷November 10, 2013Holy crap it's loud in here after work! Also, the crowd is definitely 30-and-under. However, they do sell pretzels the size of my ass.
- Zoe CareyApril 9, 2016Food looks great. I want to try the giant pretzel and fish tacos next time. Margaritas were good.
- House beers on tap are pretty good. Spacious and great for groups.
- Vuk MilanovicOctober 21, 2015Very friendly staff! Menu looks great, but doesn't taste as good. Great beer selection on tap. Atmosphere is quite nice, but maybe a bit too noisy.
- Chris EvansJanuary 30, 2015Longass tables which is great for groups. Can get a bit loud though, so be prepared to speak up.
- Kristin S.March 5, 2014Surprisingly great food but the benches downstairs are too high if you have short legs
