Good: location, proximity; free wifi; big TVs (for key events, NYE, fireworks, White Night, etc.); many events here & ACMI… Ideal CBD meeting place; hard to miss, easy to get to via public transport!

You can pretty much do anything here what with the facilities made available. Really, just sitting here while sipping on a cup of coffee can really make your day.
Melbourne is a great town! With many neighborhoods to visit- Fitzroy, St. Kilda, Melbourne CBD, Chinatown... Go for a long walk. Take a tram ride. Checkout an art museum. Admire the architecture.
I have done numerous rock band photo shoot performing at Fed Sq. My greatest moment was the Painters & Dockers singing "The Boy Who Lost His Jocks On Flinders St Station" with the station in the back!
Visit the little funny shaped square building at the corner of Flinders & Swanston Streets, this is the Visitor Info Centre & say hi to the lovely staff there and perhaps book yourself on a day tour!
All I read here is free Wifi, but take some time and look at the ground. The most wonderful stones I have ever seen in whole Australia! Everyone is unique and they come from WA.
Had so much fun at the Japanese summer festival and the moomba festival. Go down there if you are free and have a good time. Enjoy how Melbourne embrace all cultures :)
Keep your eyes open in the Square - there's always some kind of amazing public art! At the moment (August-September 2012), don't miss the iceberg stereograms scattered around the place.
There's free WiFi, though I don't use it. There's a massive screen that varies what's on it. There's also a few restaurants and very close to trams and other places.
Everyone meets at 'Fed Square'. Bars, restaurants, galleries, free WiFi and an event hub. See the action on the big screen or enjoy the people watching!

The wifi is next to useless if you are inside anywhere! You have to stand in the middle of the square to get any signal! It is optu$, so par for the course!
Frequently hold free art and musicevents here. Personal favourites include the beer and wine shows and ACMI for movies. The website has a detailed calendar for you to keep an eye on.
Go back of house on this tour below the ground. Learn about the famous architecture and the story about the build. Open House 10am to 4pm - Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 July 2012 #OHM2012
