They still roast Hatch green chile every year and the flavor is fantastic. I also come here every couple of years to get new red chile ristras to hang on my patio!

I think the prices are great--especially because we are getting things local rather than from wherever the grocery stores ship it from!

I compared prices recently... Albertsons had tomatoes, lettuce & apples cheaper. Farmer's Market had parsley, onions & lemons cheaper. You can no longer count on Farmer's Market to be cheapest.

Prices have gone up, in some cases a lot! Often, grocery stores are less expensive. I wonder if rising prices have anything to do with the owner buying that golf course in Rio Rancho?
