UCLA Volunteer Center • September 13, 2011Vista Hermosa puts nature in the middle of LA. On 9/20/11 volunteers from UCLA will be planting, maintaining trails, and restoring benches throughout the park! Help keep this beautiful park clean.
Jonathan K. • February 9, 2015The ideal park: quiet, yet right in the middle of downtown, ample seating, clean, amazing views of great buildings like City Hall and a nice coffee shop. Every neighborhood needs one a Grand Park.
Jonathan K. • August 9, 2014Easily my favorite park in LA. It has the best view of LA, especially at night. There are great hikes all around the park. Good views of the Hollywood sign.
Diana O. • June 3, 2021tbh not the most amazing dog park in isolation but nice to talk a stroll in the surrounding area around the lake and/or settle in for a picnic in the open grass areas nearby
Stacey~Marie • April 12, 2012Great spot for lunch if you work in the area! So nice to have a park in the middle of downtown!!!
Joe L. • May 23, 2010One of the best dog parks, and the fenced in playground has the cleanest sand of any in LA.
HC J. • August 20, 2011So many trails to explore here, and lots of nice views of the city from up in the hills of the park.
Susan C. • May 1, 2012Nice park with 2 different size playgrounds and a big grassy area. Picnic area and bball court, and kids wading pool during warm months.
Ava C. • December 27, 2011Fun playgrounds and popular skate park. Only metered parking available though.

sheigh • December 16, 2009So many little local landmarks on this route (Neutra houses, swing sets, wandering coyotes, the dog park). You have to read about how hard it was to get the new path.
Corey • April 15, 2018Beautiful upgrade to the park, it looks amazing. It just needs some trees. There's very little shade. Still a great walk with your dog, and probably a good place for some outdoor events.
Alex S. • October 23, 2012Nice hike near Dodger Stadium. About 2 miles or so and with only one really steep section. Great for dogs and people.
Jamila L. • November 4, 2014Nice park great for hiking and beautiful views. There's a tennis court and golfing a theater and observatory. Family fun!
