Tony Z. • September 20, 2016Really fun safari area but bring comfortable clothes and pack light. Although there are many paid attractions, the African tram and other walkable routes can easily last for hours.
Bryce G. • July 20, 2010Bus tour is the best way to get a quick overview of all the activities and venues at the zoo. Highly recommended.
San Diego Zoo • May 20, 2011Look around and you’re sure to see one meerkat on guard duty, usually perched on a high point in the exhibit. Meerkats live in a colony, and the adults take turns being the lookout for danger.
Natasha B. • December 31, 2010Get here like 15 minutes early for a decent spot to view the elephants.
Paige C. • August 17, 2015Ashley was our tour guide and she was fantastic! She knew the names of every animal and taught us so much about all of them. We even got to feed 2 giraffes and 2 rhinos - I will never forget it!
Eddie V's Prime Seafood • May 29, 2013We could spend days in Balboa Park! The park is filled with phenomenal museums, beautiful gardens, the San Diego Zoo, outdoor activities and so much more.
Thomas M. • February 24, 2017Been to the SD zoo dozens of times over the last 50 years. Always amazing, the zoo is constantly upgrading exhibits. Arguably one of the top five zoos in the world!
Ren M. • July 24, 2010San Diego zoo has the largest collection koalas outside of Australia! Crazy! It's because San Diego is perfect for growing eucalyptus!
