Em L. • October 3, 2010A beautiful urban park with a nice jogging trail, many gorgeous live oaks, and safe and clean playgrounds for the children.
⚜Ian • August 15, 2014Beautiful park with plenty of shade to be found under magnificent oaks. Lots of paths for running and biking and rentals of all sorts of people-powered vehicles for land or water
Myster V. • March 28, 2011I fell in love here last May with an amazing Finnish woman. Laying on a blanket in the shade listening to the calliope play or watching ships pass by. A truly romantic scene.
Cole T. • June 12, 2017Pretty and scenic. Climbing the bridge is part of the experience, definitely worth it; especially when on a run!
Tiffany B. • May 3, 2016Great for photos, and super easy to get to from Audubon Zoo, Park, or The Fly.
Roderick F. • March 5, 2016Live music here is always great never a shortage of food vendors or drinks
Ryan E. • November 13, 2018Small park in the Central Business District that's a great space during all seasons. Mardi Gras parades pass by in winter, festivals are in spring and fall, and in summer it's a great place to relax.
Ryan E. • November 12, 2018Park behind the Zoo along the river. Perfect for sunbathing, crawfish boils, baseball games and birthday parties. Tip: Closer to the entrance tends to be more college-aged so drive a little further.
Amy R. • October 28, 2017A must do. The garden district is much different architecturally from the French quarter and worth exploring. Guides help you navigate which streets have the best homes.
Robert B. • April 1, 2013A good photo op for the cathedral but a ton of street performances worth avoiding.
Scott G. • March 25, 2013Check out the annual Hogs for Cause food festival. 12,000 attendees last year, over 70 pit competitors and great live music. Cooks also offer up some local favorites; jambalaya, alligator sausage ...
Lee R. • September 7, 2011Huge fountain in the front of the park is one of my favorite places in the city!
Daron Y. • January 30, 2019It's a relatively short trail. Close to the city center. You might be able to start your run from your hotel to extend the distance. There is plenty of parking around the place. No need to worry!
Jill O. • December 27, 2014They've done a wonderful job with the river walk. Walk, jog or sit and watch the ships go by.
Suzanne C. • February 11, 2019The best muffuletta in the French Quarter! Ask for it warm, makes the bread crispy!
Ryan E. • November 13, 2018A few blocks between businesses, Fulton Alley is particularly great during the holidays. Hot chocolate, fake snow, Christmas decorations and music as well as a bowling alley and various food options.
Monk • February 9, 2013Awesome place to bring your dogs and let them be dogs. Just be careful letting them jump into the river. There's gators in dem waters!
Eliza T. • July 2, 2024Great walk, lovely to do during any time of the time! This is the 3rd biggest river in the world, so make sure you pop-by!
Yvette C. • February 25, 2024Really beautiful house, but of course you can only look from the outside. Currently under renovation
