AYHJA • April 22, 2017Life changing! I live in Washington DC and have been to the Smithsonian lots of times. That said, this museum met and exceeded my expectations. It's worth its own trip to New Orleans.
Karen W. M. • February 26, 2011Very nice example of a lived-in house. Docent tour is $5. Interesting but not excellent. $5 though-- worth it.
Wayne A. • June 24, 2018Must see. Great air power planes of WW2. Huge space with many hanging in a hangar
Randy R. • April 13, 2013Great venue for close intimate Irish music. This is troubadour and story teller Rickey Pittman
Laur L. • July 16, 2017Public rest area and a little museum. I think they also offer free parking. I would recommend for those taking Tours in this part of the city.
L bomb • August 12, 2016Good to escape heat. Nice museum - allow about an hour to 1.5 to take your time.
Andrew C. • July 9, 2018Awesome exhibits on Katrina impact and Mardi Gras history... much larger than expected, be ready to take about 90 min or more to get thru both floors (especially if ya read each poster/artifact)!+
Carly N. • November 13, 2011The cocktail tour is very interesting, especially while drinking a Sazerac!
Gabrielle M. • October 24, 2017Costs $10 admission. Beautiful cypress wood architecture and cases. Lots of really neat artifacts, however most of the cases were hard to read due to some sort of distortion in the glass.
Debby A. • May 18, 2019If you can catch a performance, it is great. There is not a lot in the museum about the early days of jazz, which I found disappointing.
Kelly S. • August 28, 2011Take the guided walking tour-ask questions! The museum is good, but the real treasure was the tour guide. He was so interesting and informative; one of my favorite parts of my trip!
Melinda N. • May 7, 2015Student art show! My students are entered!
Paige H. • June 21, 2014Hidden gem. Neat little exhibit in Dinwiddie!
