Charles L. • May 16, 2017Beef noodle soup. Not sure how Thai it is but one of the best you will find anywhere in the Bay Area. Scratched an itch that had been bugging me since Taiwan. Fun place.
Danielle H. • October 24, 2016This place has a really neat atmosphere and a great bloody mary. Try their potato pancakes!
Brian S. • January 21, 2021Love this coffee! Best in the neighborhood for my palette. Not too light but not charred either. Delicious pastries to boot.
Nabeel H. • September 17, 2014It pays to talk to the owner about your tea tastes. Amazing depth of knowledge.
Jenny H. • March 30, 2015Happy hour 4-6 on weekdays. Fried zucchini sticks are enormous & delicious. Very kid-friendly, too.
Brian S. • September 27, 2015A top three bagel shop in Oakland. Any of the classic bagels with cream cheese and lox is outstanding. Keep it simple.
Patrick R. • May 30, 2012Best donuts around & service! Enjoy the conversations with the older guys on history of the area, world travel, & anything/everything else you can think of. =)
The Taste Sheriff • March 18, 2018A unique find for the area! The food is really superb albeit a bit expensive. Try the foie gras filet, the fried oyster deviled eggs, and the steak tartare. For dessert, try the pistachio lemon tart.
Erin P. • May 10, 2012Great yogurt, welcome airy atmosphere, kids table to play, no minimum for credit cards, bathroom!! All it needs is a changing table and it would be heaven.
Niki G. • April 6, 2016Honestly I've mostly stopped going here since the ownership changed. You can order flavored steamed milk though, which is good. (You can get any flavor syrup they have available). & iced teas are good
Mila C. • November 21, 2011So good and Fresh. Chips & salsa is spicy. There is an opcional Fresh pico de gallo (might be extra?)
scott m. • November 26, 2012Order your pizza half-baked and finish cooking at home for 8-10 minutes at 450 degrees. CAUTION: inspect for foreign matter; bit into a stone on my first bite--disassembled pizza still tastes good.
Jonathan F. • February 25, 2012Try the polllo wrap very good, grilled chicken spinach pesto etc
Jesse B. • May 27, 2010Be ready to rifle through all the different options really fast! It helps if you know what you want; there's a pretty big menu.
Mortiche W. • May 16, 2016Love their pastitsio (hollow pasta noodles with spiced meat sauce and bechamel), moussaka, green beans (aka fasolakia yanni) and rice here. About to try the Greek chicken, looks moist and lemony!
Brian S. • September 25, 2019Right out of the oven this stuff is pretty damn good. If you order a “slice” you’re really ordering basically a small pizza. Slices are made to order and are huge! Big enough for two kids to share one
Joshua M. • January 21, 2010Spicy string bean with tofu is a must.
