edward a. • August 31, 2011part of the Minneapolis uptown lakes, a terrific place to spend a beautiful smmer or fall day and you can skate it during the winter!
Carly C. • August 13, 2014Great walking/running path. A little less than 3 miles around. Connects to lake Calhoun near the bandshell.
Nate F. • July 27, 2015nice spot to stop on a sunset bike ride
Jesse G. • November 28, 2013Nice people, usually smart dog owners. Great dog socialization. At times dogs get into pecking order, but they are pack animals. I like the breed diversity at this park.
Molly S. • January 5, 2012They have free skates to borrow, now you have no excuse why you can't go!
Tess O. • August 22, 2011Park on one of the streets around the lake instead of them main lake road. Even better: just bike here. You will save yourself a lot of time on the weekends.
Mike O. • July 2, 2013Lake Harriet, on the whole, beats Calhoun. However, this beach is tiny and not terribly sandy. Also, way too many kids typically. Calhoun has it bested as far as beaches go.
Charles E. • January 18, 2012Grab a bite to eat at the Silver Lake Cafe. The reuben (when they have it) is frickin' awesome!
Arielle L. • July 6, 2018Great running or walking trail along Lake Calhoun just a few miles outside of downtown Minneapolis. This is the home of many 5k's throughout the year.
Arielle L. • October 9, 2018I love this lake. there are lots of paths and parks along it to relax and in the winter, you'll see 4 or 5 ice rinks created on the lake for hockey!
Jeanie J. • March 19, 2012This lake is mostly park....very few houses. Has a great "Up North" feel in the city.
John G. • September 27, 2016The Lake Harriet Vortex: You don't have to go to Sedona, AZ. to experience a vortex. The grassy hillside at Beard's Plaisance park is the site of a vortex.
