AJC • July 18, 2017Run this 5.8 mile loop over gently rolling terrain north of Atlanta. You'll run through beautiful meadows, and through former Civil War battlefields at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.
Shanan • December 14, 2012Great place for a hike. You can walk for a few minutes or for hours. Come prepared though... bring plenty of water & some energy bars.
MsTiffany_ • May 24, 2015Great trail in the Kennesaw area. Not a flat trail though, plenty of hills. Great for walking, running or biking.
This Is My South • September 6, 2014One of our favorite hikes in Georgia for its variety of terrain.
Melanie S. • August 20, 2011Wonderful primer for a solid training run. This is where I trained for the Half-Marathon. Also, I really great variety of biking trails ranging from beginner to professional!
Alex R. • September 14, 2015Mountain bike trails a blast. Nice views of the river. Parking can be quite the challenge however.
Divya P. • September 18, 2015It's a good 1.8 mile trail with steep hills, which make it quite a challenge. It good for walkers ,runners & bicyclists.
Renee N. • January 31, 20127 miles of trails, more if you go off the beaten path. Intermediate trails, advanced if you look for the challenging cut offs and like to climb. Bring water and your dog (dogs require a leash).
curtis c. • September 17, 2012A lot of different trails, you can easily choose how long/short you want to hike and there are many maps along the way so you will always know where you are and how to get back.
4sqLoveStory • February 27, 2011July 30, 2010 ==> After enjoying a good picnic at the base of the mountain (in the designated zone) and a hike up the paved road, we found this to be a great alternative route down
Bill W. • February 22, 2013Canons at the top before continuing up to Big Kennesaw. Bring water and a snack y'all.
Joe C. • October 16, 2011Near my mom's, as a kid I walked by it on my way to the "bamboo forest" across the street in the park. Civil war hospital.
Holly R. • March 6, 2022Great work out. It’s steep right out of the trailhead, elevating your heart rate early to get the most cardio benefit out of your hike. Lots of outcroppings and craggy. A good staff is recommended.
Holly R. • March 6, 2022I took a slightly wrong turn and ended up on a 5.6 mi loop. But there are definitely worse places to get turned around. It’s less traveled and fairly flat. Loved it!
