Ricardo H. • April 21, 2016A very quiet park in comparison with all others in Seattle. Beautiful views of Puget Sound. Great place for a summer picnic.
John P. • December 2, 2013Fantastic view of the Sound with a really neat lighthouse. I hope the city will do more to make the buildings look less dilapidated and perhaps include a museum in the near future.
sullystan • September 11, 2011Head down the trail to the lighthouse, and if you're lucky, spot a seal on the buoy just off the shore. High tide days are my favorite for quiet beach walks, but some love low tide for shells
Pelin G. • December 26, 2018This beach is an awesome place to take a walk and breath in the fresh air
Molly R. • January 4, 2014Good parking by uptown espresso and across from Starbucks (if it's early).
Robby D. • July 30, 2012Attention photographers! Commodore Park, on the Magnolia side of the Ballard Locks, is a great place to take pictures. Wonderful views of Salmon Bay, and boats that enter and exit it!
Ramona C. • November 25, 2013Nice, quiet, well-maintained and has a separate area for small or shy dogs.
Robby D. • July 26, 2012Small beach, very pleasant. Looks out over the nearby Magnolia marina. Nice place to stop and enjoy lunch.
Summer G. • February 16, 2013Old skool merry go round here! One of the less visited, well maintained playgrounds in the neighborhood.
Joe D. • June 11, 2010if you get there during low tide try lifting up a good size rock on the low tide beach, you'll find all kinds of water critters from starfish to crabs and weird eel like fish under there.
Claudia F. • March 20, 2010Great place to bring your kids to play outdoor and also a good way to meet new moms.
