秋庭 誠. • January 8, 2018東芝の敷地内には入れないということにはなっているが、お世辞にも良いとは思えない公園とトイレ、自販機(コークオン対応コカ・コーラ製のもの)がある場所には立ち入り可能。なお、東芝社員が工場に入る改札(のような所)は撮影禁止とのこと。

Tsujimoto • January 23, 2010単式ホーム1面1線。駅舎はかなり古い木造形式で、関東の駅百選にも選ばれた。日勤勤務駅で日中は駅係員が駐在。駅近くには極楽寺検車区があり、当駅で列車の分割・併合、車両交換を頻繁に行うことがあるため、ホームの有効長は85m（約6両分）ある。駅のトイレ設備は無いが、鎌倉市管理の公衆トイレが改札の外に設置。駅近くにはアジサイで有名な「成就院」があり、アジサイの季節になるとかなり混み合う。

Tsujimoto • January 23, 2010ホームから改札へは、4〜5段ほどの階段があるがスロープは設置されていない。ただし、列車到着時は駅員さんが階段または数メートル先の改札前に必ずいるため、ベビーカーや車いすの方には親切に対応して頂ける。
