Tracy C. • March 3, 2010AMAZING place to go for live Blues music. Light crowd, excellent atmosphere, good drinks and a pool table!
Krystal I. • September 8, 2016Eclectic. This art-filled, off the beaten path tavern has seen performances by, now famous, rockers and comedians. Note the unpretentious vibe. Growing craft beer + cider list at a good value. Cheap.
keidra c. • May 29, 2010I love Subt because it's a great place to see decent-to-amazing live music for pretty cheap (usually $8 - $15) lots of local bands and good indie/underground national acts. The beer selection is OK.
Time Out Chicago • May 23, 2012This is Chicago’s premier indie rock club, hosting cutting-edge bands from home and abroad. “Cheap Sundays” and free Mondays remove the financial risk from gambling on an unknown bill. -ASK
Tim S. • September 28, 2016Amazing food, amazing shows. Staff is very cool, despite the stress of constant live music transient crowds. One could be a regular here.
Ana M. • October 7, 2016The patio area is nice, the music room is cozy. The staff was personable and great. I ate the avocado turkey club which was crazy tasty with THE BEST sweet potato fries I've ever had.
