Peter T. • October 6, 2013Try the banh cuon (steamed flat rice cake) - pretty much the only vietnamese restaurant in Austin that has it. Banh mi and the cream puffs are also very good!
Ella Jane M. • October 1, 2010The waiters aren't aggro; it's a cultural thing. Excellent, authentic Vietnamese food, and the best bahn mis in town. Cone for the sandwiches, go to sunflower across the way for imperial rolls.
Drew M. • October 31, 2017Great bun cha. Great chicken/meat. Out of the dozen Vietnamese places we've tried in Austin, this is my favorite.
Christoph S. • January 30, 2023Been here a couple times now, my favorites are the grilled shrimp skewers and the eggplant dish. Amazing flavors!
Social News Network • November 24, 2013It's never been easy to find a Vietnamese restaurant with original and authentic recipes of pho, spring roll, and much much more. Austin is lucky because Thanh Nhi has them all, plus: excellent price!
Ivan T. • October 9, 2016Amazing Boba Jasmine Green Tea! The older lady serving it was very attentive! Really great recommendations from our server.
Josh A. • June 5, 2015Solid Vietnamese in Austin. Compared well to other nearby options. Get vermicelli and pork, wash it down with a soda chanh.
Tiffany H. • March 4, 2016Banh mi sliders are delicious. One pho bowl size option, but it's plenty filling. Get the tendon (gan) in your pho! That's my go to every time. :-) Nom
Jesse B. • December 22, 2011My favorite pho spot in Austin. #5 is a good choice. Fast, cheap and the staff remembers you.
yimay y. • September 18, 2018the pho is so flavorful! i will be back to try the bun, spring rolls, and banh mi!
Eater • January 13, 2011Tommy Le went wild with the menu at our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Fantastic Bo Luc Lac, a lengthy drinks list, and an exotic menu (Lemongrass Reindeer!) on the weekends. [Eater 38 Member]
