Kai v. • August 27, 2019Einfach ein tolles Museum. Hier lohnt sich die Mitgliedschaft im Freundeskreis des Museums. Viele tolle Sonderveranstaltungen.
Kev T. • December 19, 2014Great place with lots of surprises ! The airport is just amazing... For photographers : nice place to shoot
Paul B. • May 18, 2012Kid friendly but good for adults too. Exhibits of stone age and iron age finds near the Elbe are well explained.
Zineta E. • February 23, 2017They offer tours in different languages. Make sure you book a place in advance, it gets crowded. The tour is superb and the tour guides are the sweetest. The entire experience is amazing.
Roxanna • August 3, 2013Highly recommended! One of the best maritime museums I've been to around the world. Amazing collection of ship models!
Igor A. • August 10, 2018Best exposition of coffee: starting from history and different kinds of beans to current alternative brewing methods. Really huge collection of everything (packaging, instruments, coffee machines ...)
Rodrиго Р. • January 24, 2020Beautiful and comprehensive. You can spend the whole day here seeing everything from Richter to Cranach. A total highlight.
Brian D. • August 13, 2016Awesome collection in a size able museum. A nice place you can get lost in. Excellent Japanese collection.
Billie A. • May 14, 2011Amazing space! It is very freeing as you don't feel guided in any particular direction. Free to roam and weave through whichever way you want. Gift shop has nice designer pieces also.
Ronan P. • May 1, 2019Small but expertly curated racing museum including many original cars preserved in great condition, including one of the Herbie Beetles and Schumacher’s “Irish” F1 car
Martien B. • August 10, 2014Relax in the park, have a drink in the Jenisch-Haus and enjoy the setting. Do something unexpected. Have a Rhabarberschorle ;-)
Andrea M. • July 30, 2013A wonderful place to learn about Hamburg's history. Good cafe, too.
Dmitriy R. • May 17, 2015Guided tour opens some unique spots, but a bit to fast for me. So take a tour then spend some time on your own.
Anna D. • October 25, 2014A very interactive museum about emigrants. It is worth of each cent paid for the entrance. Also fits good for children. There is a lot of stuff for them to explore there.
Cynthia D. • August 25, 2012While it's probably pretty nice up on deck, I got the most thrill from hanging out on its dock. Walk the bridges out to the ship and anyone can get alongside for free. Excellent tugboat-spotting here.
Dmitriy R. • March 28, 2015I really enjoyed the exhibition on the first floor. Linotype, monotype, old typewriters, typepress etc. There's a possibility to attend a workshop which is on my list.
János B. • March 16, 2015Very good exhibition about the history of Altona and how is it connected to Hamburg. Unfortunately the signs are in German only.
Dmitriy R. • March 28, 2015You wouldn't expect anything like that from a free of charge museum! It's absolutely great. Plus there're some parts of the museum that can be accessed only with a guide.
