R D. • March 18, 2014Something about listening to the waves crash on the beach and the sunrise is to die for!
Jimmie M. • July 21, 2013Nice place for families. Parking area away from the beach but with easy access to the beach. Entrance fee is $8. They have two chairs and umbrella set out by the water. They rent for $30.
Abby L. • June 9, 2012You have to pay $10 per person just to walk around. Lame. Guess we'll just look at it from the beach.
Angela A. • August 14, 2011No vehicle access to the beach. You park then walk from the designated packed sand area.
Megan B. • July 25, 2013A lot of families come here. Love the showers and restrooms. Worth the $8 to enjoy the beach.
Erin D. • August 31, 2019There is no driving on Sunny Beach. You can drive on the beach at 8 Mile Road Beach or the pocket park by Woody’s.
Autumn R. • August 7, 2013Very nice beach! Fairly quiet and mostly clean. Would come back if we could afford it!
Adriane L. • August 17, 2013Always thought it was just a gift shop... They have a bar with a gift shop and yummy strawberry daiquiris
Sarah • July 19, 2012The friendliest beach staff. Always working to help you have a great day at the beach.
Lara B. • March 29, 2012We love coming to spend the day here at the beach. Clean spacious bathrooms at the day-use area.
CJ M. • November 18, 2013Great place to get away from the tourists. Huge beach, remote, good place to play with dogs. Way better than the tourist trap that is galveston beaches
Malissa P. • July 1, 2013The private beach by our rental was WAY cleaner than the public access section. They raked ours everyday. Beautiful, peaceful, can't wait to return!!!
Tally K. • September 20, 2011It's worth the extra drive to go to the westernmost beach on the island.
Amber T. • August 18, 2015Awesome private beach, relaxing, hammocks, pool and hot tub spacious condos with lovley balconies to drink morning coffee.
