Tuscany villas with pool in italy for rent direct • September 8, 2012The Basilica of Santa Croce, in the square in Florence, is one of the largest churches officiated by the Franciscans and one of the greatest achievements of Gothic architecture in Italy.
Aja B. • September 28, 2019One of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever visited. Interior architecture is so interesting. The view is also great, go for sunset
Xx X. • November 8, 2017I mean it's a lovely church but after climbing the cupola it's a bit anticlimactic. Then again, everything else would be! Perhaps see this before entering the cathedral?
Sara A. • December 3, 2013Impresionante 10€ la entrada incluye la iglesia, batisterio y cúpula. Los 463 escalones valen la pena para tener una vista completa de florencia. En invierno abren a las 12 y cierran alas 15:40
Fluying ✅. • October 18, 2018The present church, built by the Vallombrosan Order, replaces an earlier 11th-century church.
Xx X. • November 23, 2017Visit Brancacci at 4:15 sharp (the last entry time) so that you can see the main church (S. Maria del Carmine, which will be dark) when it opens at 5pm. Brancacci requires a ticket but SMdC is free.
Freya M. • July 27, 2011Monday is the only day that the Museum of the Orsanmichele church is open 10am-5pm & it is free! It takes only a short time to visit but it is one my favourite ‘hidden gems’ in the city.
Abhishek • November 8, 2019The crucifix is one of Michelangelo’s original works (when he was 18). No photography allowed inside the church which is unfortunate but worth a quick visit! The altar is very impressive
Visit Tuscany • September 30, 2010The first church in the Renaissance style also features a burial chapel and a library by Michelangelo. If you find the Laurentian Library open, go in! Enjoy a day in Florence http://bit.ly/1i50PRA
Xx X. • November 23, 2017Perhaps lost in the abundance of glorious churches in Florence, this is one of my favourites. Do Capella Brancacci next door just before it closes, then come admire the magnificence of this church.
The Florentine • August 22, 2011Opera is sung here a few times a week, plus there's great non denominational community dinners and events! For a history of this church, click the link below.
Italia.it • November 26, 2012Entrance from the door at the right side of the church using a steep ramp. Ask the guardian to open the side door. On the square the pavement is uneven. Telephone +39-055213018
Julia S. • May 16, 2013Small but really a very special church! Don't miss it! Every time i am in i'm about to cry
Firenze Convention Bureau • July 28, 2011The Church of Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio. Main art works: The front half of the church has altars from the 1500s. It has now been desecrated, and hosts a lot of events, congress and concerts
Thom B. • February 8, 2012There's a beautiful, restored and attributed Giotto crucifix inside. And it's free!
Akhnaton Ihara R. • October 19, 2022Infelizmente a Basílica estava fechada, não pude conhece-la, mas por fora é bonita
