Abigail T. • December 15, 2015Hotel Captain Cook is the best hotel in Alaska. Period. It's not perfect, but it's the best. They have an event planning dream team. I got engaged and married here in 2015. The Crow's Nest is great!
Steven G. • September 28, 2014Clean and comfortable rooms. Very good hotel to stay the last night in Anchorage.
alexandra k. • June 13, 2017Like a older Bnb, I wish the breakfast bar was also a bar in the evenings. Staff is kind, elevator works awesome and is huge, near everything, and I slept well. PS no hairdryer
Melissa C. • January 26, 2016The beds are heaven, blackout curtains are dark, beautiful views and the staff has always been wonderful and accommodating (if you're looking for enthusiasm visit another state).
Kevin S. • July 17, 2021Recommend egg sandwich. Nice staff. Interesting color scheme in rooms. Noisy area.
Falcon Darkstar • April 23, 2018The pipes in this place are noisy! We could hear the water all night and it was loud. Also train horns.
Kristen O. • August 20, 2018Quiet rooms, big space, friendly staff, decent breakfast, weak water flow to shower and toilet.
Liz B. • June 7, 2013Don't judge a book by its cover. This place may not look like much on the outside, but the inside is cute and the TVs are huge. It can get a bit warm the summer though--no AC.
Kristin S. • October 7, 2013Not the fanciest, but the staff are great. It's been "home" for more than one extended stay for medical stuff, & they're always kind & very attentive.
Ed D. • June 27, 2015This is a very old facility and I'm surprised that it has not been sold off. The restaurant is good for a hotel and the wait staff is excellent.
