Abigail T. • December 15, 2015Hotel Captain Cook is the best hotel in Alaska. Period. It's not perfect, but it's the best. They have an event planning dream team. I got engaged and married here in 2015. The Crow's Nest is great!
Steven G. • September 28, 2014Clean and comfortable rooms. Very good hotel to stay the last night in Anchorage.
Ray H. • September 11, 2011Decent hotel with a great view. A good walk from the downtown favorites. Bathroom toilets look like public ones and the AC is non-existence.
alexandra k. • June 13, 2017Like a older Bnb, I wish the breakfast bar was also a bar in the evenings. Staff is kind, elevator works awesome and is huge, near everything, and I slept well. PS no hairdryer
フェブ T. • August 10, 2015Closed to Alaska railroad where u can catch the train in next morning.. Soft pillows available 4u.
Alyssandra D. • August 19, 2016Prime location for walking to downtown. Great service with the airport shuttle and bag storage for our late night flight after checkout!
Roger P. • September 7, 2010No free internet but beds are comfy, and in downtown so everything is walking distance. Love the pillows! Breakfast buffet pricey but good
Falcon Darkstar • April 23, 2018The pipes in this place are noisy! We could hear the water all night and it was loud. Also train horns.
Kristen O. • August 20, 2018Quiet rooms, big space, friendly staff, decent breakfast, weak water flow to shower and toilet.
Kevin S. • July 17, 2021Recommend egg sandwich. Nice staff. Interesting color scheme in rooms. Noisy area.
Liz B. • June 7, 2013Don't judge a book by its cover. This place may not look like much on the outside, but the inside is cute and the TVs are huge. It can get a bit warm the summer though--no AC.
Kristin S. • October 7, 2013Not the fanciest, but the staff are great. It's been "home" for more than one extended stay for medical stuff, & they're always kind & very attentive.
