Miss K. • August 13, 2015One of my favorite Des Moines recreational places, Gray's Lake is wonderful for walks, bird watching, and boating. When my children were young, we spent a lot of time at the beach!
Edgar • March 26, 2016Neat park to visit and walk around. Sculptures are odd but fun.
Morgan S. • March 8, 2016Wonderful food! The flavors were bursting and the food was light. Great ambiance for a nice lunch.
Hannah M. • August 8, 2012Go to the shower house that is by the big hill by the front gate, there is almost never a line.
Jim D. • March 6, 2011A great place for some trail running. Tons of connecting points to other Des Moines routes.
Michael M. • November 2, 2011By far the best doggie daycare in town. Carrie and her staff are great with the dogs we have been going here since it opened
Don • April 1, 2014We love coming here because it's such a short bike ride for daddy & a nice park w/ 2 play areas. 1 for lil toddlers & 1 for more advanced young ones. Also has sandbox & rope climbing triangle.
C H. • February 6, 2013Trail in good shape...some melting snow so don't wear your best pair of running shoes.
Calvin H. • April 1, 2015Register your dog with the City of Des Moines and $20 gets you a pass, good through the end of the year, for all 3 Des Moines dog parks.
American Heart A. • December 14, 2011One lap around the park is just shy of half a mile so take a few laps and really admire all this amazing public art!
Kensie S. • May 11, 2011Like a secret garden in the middle of the city. Take a book and soak up the summer sunshine in the shade.
Crystal M. • March 16, 2012The kids are always mean at the rocket.they were when I was a kid too.somethings never change.
Lindsey S. • November 10, 2010Be sure to check out the rose garden. It's the perfect spot for a wedding. That's where ours was!
