Gabe T. • February 26, 2021Great dog park as well as plenty of green space to walk your dog in Charleston
donna b. • May 5, 2013Lovely park with great views. Only problem we had was no pets allowed on the pier.
Dee O. • April 15, 2015Great for a picnic or walk. Especially pretty when there are flowers in bloom. Fun event location.
Paula M. • August 19, 2016This is my favorite place in all of charleston. Super peaceful and serene. Great park.
Archaeological Research Collective I. • December 30, 2012They have on-site archaeological excavations & accept volunteers. Archaeology also helped inform some of the park design & recreations. There is a great museum in the visitors center.
Charleston Parks Conservancy • March 26, 2010Great for a run. But for those less athletically inclined, grab a delicious crepe from nearby Queen Street Grocery and have a picnic in the park.
Amanda B. • January 14, 2017Nice little park. Several pokemon. Right near aquarium. Looks great for picnics in nicer weather.
Charming Inns of Charleston • June 14, 2012Dog on vacation with you at the John Rutledge House Inn or Kings Courtyard Inn? The Gardens are a short walk away. Canopied with live oaks & one of the prettiest (yet un-official) downtown dog parks.
Lauren W. • April 28, 2021I certainly don’t feel safe at all at Marion Square. Between all of the protests, panhandlers begging for money, homeless and mentally ill living in the park. Definitely stay away at night!
Charming Inns of Charleston • October 15, 2012Original site of the Charleston Museum before it was taken down in flames. If you brought your dog along for a Charleston vacation, they'll love this spot's charming little dog park.
Danielle B. • April 6, 2014Facilities are nice although I admit missing the Hilton Head location. Good week to see future and current great players up close. +warm spring weather and near the beach!
Charleston Parks Conservancy • March 22, 2010The fenced-in dog run is open for use between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. The off-leash area (outfield of the baseball field) is only open between 6 p.m. and 9 a.m. And don't forget to pick up after your pets!
Charleston Parks Conservancy • January 12, 2012Check out our work in this pocket park and join us for regular Garden in the Park activities: www.charlestonparksconservancy.org.
