Marit W. • October 11, 2011another favorite photo location. Lots of nooks and crannies and especially along the water. Gorgeous! watch for crowds in fall, though.
Marshall S. • July 7, 2010One of the best parks in the Boise 'area'. Water park, climbing, fishing pond, huge fields, musical instruments and rubber ground (a huge plus).
Emily M. • September 11, 2013Go on off hours so you don't have to wait in line :) also, if you're surfing or boogie boarding.. Get across the eddy before the big boulder or you'll get dragged in the shallows.
Marit W. • October 11, 2011My very favorite. In the southwest edge, near the greenbelt and the apartments are some fabulous trees. Watch for goatsheads, but perfect for family shoots! Try it out!
Jen H. • October 29, 2013Has a nice path that goes around and through the park. Circumference is a little over 1 mile. Good place for a jog.
Marit W. • October 11, 2011the rose garden is simple but lovely for pictures. The gazebo is perfect for closeups with a shallow depth of field when it is crowded. The flowers make a great backdrop as well as a foreground.
Marit W. • October 11, 2011great photo locations here as well. Look for water shots and open space shots with grass as background. Fun to play as family before shots so relaxed smiles happen.
Dustin H. • October 6, 2012Great park with lots of wildlife. It's right on the river so there are many insects. Be sure to bring insect repellent if you are planning on a bbq or something of the sort.
Marit W. • October 11, 2011love taking pictures here. The grass area to the southwest is lovely and large. The greenbelt right next door is great. The candids of kids are always fun and I especially love slides and swings.
Lee G. • May 25, 2012Excellent playground, walking path, play field, shade, bathroom. A true gem of a park on east Northview street.
Susan B. • May 25, 2017Beautiful park with two playgrounds, a creek (buttercups and tulips currently blooming) tennis courts, and a basketball court.
Hannah s. • December 16, 2012Love this park just because I'm a teen doesn't mean I can't go down a slide or climb the monkey bars :)
Lauren M. • September 14, 2011Not such a great park.... From the street it looks good but its not. Hop ping in the car to camels back...
Mary-Kate H. • June 9, 2013The pool is a blast for kids of all ages :) The park is great too with ample space for a pick up softball game!
Joseph B. • October 30, 2021Open from 🌄 to 🌅, the 7.2 acre park, located in Northwest Boise, features a playground, tennis & basketball courts, practice fields, off-leash dog area (before 10am & after 4pm) & open play areas.
