Jonathon T. • January 24Beautiful forest trails, and a really pretty river area. Just be careful if it rained recently. The trails got a little flooded out in places.
Vanessa A. • April 23, 2017Great Austin skyline view. Beautiful Colorado River alongside the running trail.
AFAR Media • February 27, 2015You can't swim in the water, but the left fork (heading west) in the river will take you to Barton Springs Pool, a popular Austin hangout, and you can splash in the water to your heart's delight.
Mandeno • August 11, 2012This part of the river is absolutely beeee-yoootiful! Smells so wonderfully natural & clean. Best part of the river is after the dam. 12 miler is def worth it! Great outfitter!
Millie J. • April 18, 2018Nice, leisurely stroll along the river. Lots of turtles and birds. Places to sit and rest. Shady and sandy walkway. No big hills and some landmarks to see.
Denise C. • September 8, 2013The float itself wasn't awful, but the area where the shuttle picks you up is way littered. There was an exploded diaper and table. Probably won't be back.
Eric A. • February 21, 2013Great spot to take photos of the river and downtown. Careful, might be windy up here!
Hudson Sutler • July 19, 2017The 7-room Heywood Hotel is a homerun. E Cesar is a stones throw from the best East Austin spots, Rainey and Downtown are minutes away and you can easily shoot south of the river in no time.
Chris V. • March 29, 2015Really great setup for conference rooms and a great outdoor area by the river
chris m. • March 19, 2012The bats fly leave the bridge flying east. Best place (other then on boat) is the South East side of the river down on the grassy area by the bike path
Sarah H. • November 5, 2018The highest point in Austin is a surprisingly easy hike. If you are feeling adventurous this is a short drive from downtown, and has a spectacular view of the Colorado River!
Anastasiia .. • May 30, 2016The tables outside are amazing, so nice to be outside and see river and fish around. For my taste food was ok. I liked sausage with baked potatoes and beens.
Jennifer • October 12, 2011Pizza's good, but the soda selection is one of the best in town. My favorite late-night spot on Red River.
ℳ𝒶𝓎♍ • October 30, 2015Old hotel but revamped right on the Colorado River and a short 10mins walk to Downtown Austin and 5mins from the famous Bat Bridge with great views. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful
RCRD LBL • March 8, 2011The balcony is where it's at for the best stage views - and the best company. Plus, you can keep your finger on the Red River pulse without missing a beat from the talent.
