S • August 6, 2012【せたがや百景 No.11 淡島の灸の森巖寺】 江戸時代の初め、徳川家康の次男結城秀康公の位牌所として建立された。建物に 三葉葵の紋所が見られる。また境内には、樹齢400年のイチョウが一対と、お灸 と2月8日の針供養で知られる淡島神社がある。森巖寺や北沢八幡、阿川家の屋敷 林のあるこのあたりは緑深い木々に包まれている。『せたがや百景』p.89より
