Petros K. • August 31, 2018A small museum that worth a visit. Nice collection of items.A small piece of history. Definitely worth a visit. Don't forget to take a coffee at the cafe on the roof with the fantastic view.
Danai A. • December 21, 2016Maybe small but with great artifacts! Pay attention at the building that house the Museum. It's the Stoa of Attalos, one of the two still standing buildings in the Ancient Agora.
Δάφνη Ρ. • September 1, 2019Nice, would like more unusual illusions for the 9€ ticket. Some of the exhibits are well worth the visit. Avoid weekends if possible, too many kids (if you have kids, it's the best!)
Danai A. • December 21, 2016This is not just a museum...In this building used to be the Parliament of Greece.
Vicki K. • September 17, 2017A garden oasis in the heart of the city, great for coffee or a drink during the day. Tranquil.
Maria K. • October 12, 2013Try the outdoor cafe tucked away at the back of the museum. It's a quiet place to have a coffee when u're in the centre, also nice for a light lunch. Serves a nice variety of teas.
Dimitra A. • June 29, 2014Socrates Now the interactive performance in English is on in the courtyard of this venue from the 14th to the 27th of July 2014...an experience not to be missed. Check it out at
Olga N. • June 14, 2022The exhibitions here tend to be hit-or-miss, but since entrance is free it's worth a visit if you are in the area.
Harry • April 8, 2015Incospicuous museum in the heart of Athens. The collection includes items from various Greek painters, sculptors and architects and is housed in Hadjikyriakos-Ghika's own home and atelier. Must visit!
Panagiotis G. • April 2, 2019Beautiful historical place. Cheap for a guided visit at a hill with a clear view of the Acropolis. Many of the ornaments are presented during the tour. Make sure to go on a cloudless night!!
Sergii K. • October 23, 2019Very interesting museum with friendly staff and many interactive exhibitions
Murat • April 19, 2016Great location, easy to access by metro. But, it is more of an exibition than being a museum. Found at metro constructions, so display in the station. Good for spending 20min, if nothing else to do.
Olivia NJ • December 30, 2014Great collection of contemporary international and local paintings. Worth the visit!
Manos M. • January 9, 2016Wide collection of instruments with sample audio, nice shop with traditional and relatively cheap instruments - including cool handmade Baglamas made with cigar boxes and tin cans - and nice setting
HotelGrandeBretagne • December 28, 2011A unique opportunity to learn how an indigenous non-profit-making foundation presents music and the fine arts from both Greece and around the world.
Yiota P. • May 15, 2015One of most beautiful, alternative museums you can visit in Athens. Wonderful collections. Usually you have to pay entry fee but it's free on Saturdays :)
Nora W. • August 4, 2018Love this museum. Small but the art works are highly prestigious! Very good condition of small Hellenistic figurines.
Danai A. • December 21, 2016Exploring and learning by interaction with the objects and the surrounding area. A must seen museum, especially if you have kids!
Dan G. • December 24, 2017Beautiful, informative, accessible, extensive. Celebration, tragedy, learning.
Bubble • January 3, 2015This building was a mosque in the past (it was built in 1759). Now it holds a small collection of greek ceramics. Some ceramic figures are interesting and look funny.
