Evan Thornton: Opened in 1937 and closed in 2000, this elegant theatre was demolished in 2004 to make way for the Hartmans parking garage/ apartment complex. At one time it had 729 seats.
Evan Thornton: Opened in 1947 as the Linden Theatre; by the 1970s it was known as the Towne Cinema. Operated as a Rep house in the 1980s by the owners of the present-day Bytowne Theatre. Now a drug store.
