The atmosphere is quite nice. It feels stereotypically authentic. The food is good enough if what you’re going for is a nice night out. If your goal is great Mexican food try Mía Día up the road.
The food and the service was great. I recommend sitting on the patio even if it's hot outside though. Best margaritas we've had in a long time--hand made--not some pre-mixed sugar solution. Excellent.
Visiting from San Antonio, I know my Tex-Mex. There were a few drawbacks to the chicken fajitas I ordered but I suspect that be a Dallas thing in general. The salsa was some of the best ever.
Had Very Good Frozen Margaritas small perfect Shrimp Cocktail (the small had 7 fresh Shrimps), an Excellant Chili Relleno & a little bit of room for a hot & Yummy Sopapilla.
If you see a kangaroo hopping around outside on the sidewalk selling tickets for free tacos and he (or she) offers you a BOGO - don’t get suckered in - it’s a sucker punch!
I sat over next to the puddle of tequila and asked the waiter for a straw - he seemed apprehensive to serve me, so I ate a mushroom quesadilla at the bar and grabbed a toothpick on my way out
Only go for the drinks. Their menu items are not authentic I got a taco and it came in a hard shell and not real tortillas. Drinks are good. That’s about it. Very pricey too.
