Alexander: Some of the best coffee in town and a cosy spot for reading, people-watching. Food isn't great though.
Alexander: Cocktails aren't great in Bucharest but this place does a reasonable negroni and is good for people-watching.
Alexander: Look, you should try Romanian food and this is the best option for classic Romanian cuisine.
Alexander: Great restaurant with Romanian food - and by Romanian I mean like schnitzel and duck confit. Weird as that may sound, this is what Romanians ate growing up.
Alexander: Another place that does reasonable cocktails. Go to Mahala for dinner and then here for a drink.
Coffee is excellent. The cocktails, not so much. But the place looks great and is well worth a visit.
The service leaves a lot to be desired but the terrace is brilliant in summer and the food is rather good.
Eggs benedict on toast instead of an English muffin is a poor decision. But at least the eggs were well poached. Nice spot.
