Noah WeissNovember 15, 2015Seriously impressive and inventive cocktail list. Everything with gin and egg whites was fantastic. Good and affordable late night food options too: steak tartare. Great date spot.
Grab a seat at the bar for drinks or dinner. The bartenders are fantastic -- and incredibly nice. Don't be afraid to let them whip up something of their own creation. They always seem to get it right.

Marissa CMay 2, 2017Great atmosphere!!! Got a table late at night, I had the lobster appetizer n my friend had the Cod picture here which just melted in your mouth. Old fashion was great and Bread pudding was fantastic!!
Staff here is the best in Boston. Oysters are always fresh, food is always delicious and service is always impeccable. Their cocktail menu is extensive, as is their wine list. ESDK is always my go-to.

The best restaurant in Boston. Killer wine list, amazing cocktails & huge beer selection. Food is always top notch. Especially the late night menu on the mirror.
The calamari was perfectly cooked. The flat iron steak was more medium than medium rare, but still tender and juicy. No sauce needed. The butterscotch bread pudding was great too.

Try an Old Cuban (rum, lime, simple syrup, mint, bitters, and bubbles). The smack of the mint leaf to release the oils onto the rim is fun bar theater.
Eastern Standard is a Boston staple. The late night options are high class and wallet friendly. Also, try the blueberry thrill!

The blueberry thrill and the Au Provence. Go for late night chips and dip an for dinner: what else, the burger.
For snacks, the raw bar and the grilled cheese are boom-bangin. For delicious libations: Old Cuban, Metamorphosis, Blueberry Thrill, Jack Rose, Au Provence, oh hell-- ALL OF THEM
The Standard Burger is probably the best burger you will ever have! Rich and full of flavor, and pretty much melts in your mouth.
Is it warm out? Order a glass of Commanderie de Peyrassol still rosé; incredibly refreshing and light, it's one of the best offered in the city. Drink!
If you like cocktails and killer rustic fare like roasted bone marrow or steak tartare- this is your place. If you are lucky, Jackson one of the best bartenders in the U.S. Will make you a drink.
