the atmosphere was very relaxed and trendy, almost had a "high-end dive bar" feel to it! i had to order a few donuts (all vegan!) and they were all so delicious! even my non-vegan sisters loved them
This vegan spot in Bushwick serves delicious donuts. I like the chocopeanut. Their coffee, from Brooklyn Roasting Company, is quality. It's a nice relaxed cafe with WiFi next to the Montrose station.
Love Dun-Well Doughnuts. I moved to the neighborhood & you opened just few weeks later. DWD has been a great addition to the hood since day 1. Pleaseee do something about the slow internet though 🙏
Cute, cozy, and 100% vegan! The prices were great and the doughnut I had (maple with chocolate and pecan) as well as my horchatalatte were quite scrumptious! Sensing a new obsession!
Dun-Well's best offering is the Cinnamon Sugardonut, a fluffy, pillowy ring dusted with sugar and covered with a thin, not-too-sweet glaze. It isn't always on the menu, but when it is, spring for it. Read more
I think my favorites are the lavenderdoughnut (it is HEAVENLY) and the chocolate peanut-butter and jellydoughnut which is just so rich and delicious, it's insane.
There are new flavors every day in this vegan doughnut shop. Go there early to make sure you get your pick of flavors. Of course by "pick of flavors", we mean pick one of each!
They're all excellent, especially the sugary and doughy smells! It's a great opportunity to try some of their odd combinations to see what new thing can be a doughnut, rather than what you're used to.
In flavor and texture, the doughnuts found at this Bushwick upstart are light and airy but still substantial—in other words, indistinguishable from their non-vegan counterparts.
Nice casualcafé. I prefer dense cakedoughnuts to the light yeast ones but this was pretty good and very fresh. I guess if you need to go vegan these, are a great treat. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Almond Joy is like a perfect combo of my two former faves at Dough- toasted coconut and Nutella. Lard free def makes Dun-well come out ahead as there's no need for a nap after their treats🙌🍩✔️
Can I be buried right here? I don't know I these could give you a heart-attack, but if they do it would be the best one possible. And please don't let me have the Icecreamdoughnut again arrrggghh
Lovely. Chocolate with sprinkles is my fave. No aftertaste and a really lovely roast in the percolator. Makes up for no milk at the coffee bar. Perfect.
Iced coffee is from Brooklyn Roasting Co., which is great. You are then given the option of regular ice cubes or COFFEE CUBES. Go with the coffee cubes. Duh.
Try their peanut butter and jelly and the maplebourbon. Never knew that vegan doughnuts can taste so good.. Even though it's 14 for 6 I would pay that again any day.. Decor is awesome
Please, just try anything, they have such interesting flavors and I have never been disappointed. A French ToastDonut may sound odd, but it was fantastic haha!
We tried the pink lady and chocolate frosted. Both are light and moist. You can't even tell that they're vegan donuts. Also they are the winners of the food network donut showdown!
Closed Mondays! They keep museum hours =P but I seriously love this place. Amazing doughnuts! And they have a different selection every time I'm there!
The donuts are mostly great. The one exception is the vegan filling in the Boston Creme. It's just not good. Only blemish I've found at this otherwise amazing donut joint.
