This is without a doubt the best restaurant in old San Juan. As picky eaters We came here 3 nights in a row. The best staff, drinks, ambience, and of course exquisite food
Shrimp & Mango Dumplings captured umami flavour profile perfectly. Ginger Tres Leches Cake had the right amount of peppery gingerness to offset the sweet cream. Order both for yourself & DON'T share!
You'll need your smartphone flashlight app to read the menu because it's really dark, but other than that highly recommended--from creative cocktails, great asian tapas and awesome desserts
If you only had one place to expeience while in Old San Juan, the Dragonfly is the place to go. The food, martinis and mere atmosphere can not be matched in the historic area.
Truffle dumplings, calamari, chocolate lava cake, and roll in the hay sushi was great. Do not recommend the Peking duck nachos if you've had real Peking duck.
Chino/Latino at its finest! Get the pre fixe menu and forget about making decisions. The place is very dark, like a club. The best Tres Leches in San Juan :-)
San Juan Sazon! 9/12 - 10/31/11 $30 Four Course Menu - 1/2 Price Bottles of Wine Mondays - Wednesdays, Red Hot Mondays with DJ Orland Ladies drink 2 for 1!!!
cocktails are good. Some apps were good, Dumplings, wasabi fries, Peking duck tacos, main courses were not good, kimchi fajitas too salty we sent it back. Service got worse after we complained.
If you're in Viejo San Juan, you must come here. Eat in the sultry downstairs bar/dining rooms. Finish night off with the chocolate pot dessert <-mind blowing.
This place has gone downhill; less than 10 guests @ 12am on a saturday.. Stale chips, stale ambiance...still stiff prices.. To be fair, drinks were ok and bartender was accomodating..
