Been here 50+ times
Love this place, I stay here every few weeks for work, it's comfortable and the food downstairs is excellent. Downside is that I have to commute to Santa Monica.

Love the remodeling work they did especially in the lobby, bar, and pool. A hidden gem in MDR. Jason the bartender makes the best Bloody Mary! They have a happy hour as well.

This place is amazing. It has everything within a walking distance, the MdR, restaurants, Car rentals, laundries, supermarkets, bookstores, and even telecom companies. I love it.

Easy access to Venice, Marina del Rey, and Santa Monica. Can walk to a few places to get snacks etc.

Room service menu is not the standard fare, give it a try for delicious relaxed meal in your room. The burger was amazing & juicy with crisp fries.

Hotel MdR has two choices: update the interior of the rooms or change the name to Motel MdR. The choice is yours, MdR.

Ask for the suite 200 it s the best room they have. Near the front desk, no parking view and best inner architecture!

Very stylish Doubletree. The rooms have been modernized and are pretty standard but the lobby, restaurant and pool areas are where this property stands out.

There's a balcony on the rooms, but you have to climb out the window to use it.

ask for the room near the lift. otherwise, you have to walk all the hallway down every time.

+:excellent location and half of the staff is friendly... The other half is rude, the service at the restaurant is SLOW, the WIFI is free but it does not work and... We found a cuckroach in a drawer!

Get breakfast at Panini Cafe next to Pavilions. Much better & cheaper than the breakfast buffet in the hotel.

B+ Hotel. Common spot for LAX flight crews. Good eating options near by as well. Some contruction in area though.

Rooms are very old and our room was on the restaurant. room was smelling like fries. Never stay again...
