My favorite item here is the cookie shot. But get anything - cronut, lobster tail pretzel, frozen s'more, dka - because everything here is great.

Home of the cronut but has many other good things to try. Just note that you need to line up around 7 a.m. to get cronuts. The bakery opens at 8 a.m.

The cronut turned Dominique Ansel into an international celebrity, but did you know he also makes a great little egg sandwich? And you don’t have to wait in the stupid cronut line for it.

If you aren't lucky enough to get one of the famous, fresh daily cronuts before they sell out, settle for the little madeleine's or the frozen s'more, both are great!

If you're looking for great french pastries, don't miss this staggeringly good bakery from Dominique Ansel, former pastry chef at Daniel.

Each customer is limited to 2 cronuts per visit. It's def worth it though! I really enjoyed the desserts & atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available up front & in the back of the bakery!

Delicious pastries and coffees, but never worth fighting the touristy crowds who clog the sidewalk and cafe in search of their far-overrated cronuts.

I tried the chocolate eclair, it's good, but it's not the best I've had. The DKA, though, is pretty good, I tried a bite and I felt in love with it.

If you're seeking the glorious croissant doughnut Cronut, be aware they sell out within an hour every morning and the queue begins at 7:30am. Or you can pre-order 1 week in advance.

If you do not have an American palate (i.e. uber sweet tooth) skip Cronut & DKA; get a regular croissant (possibly the best I've had outside France) - the other two were way too sweet to be enjoyable.

For the love of god, don't ask about a Cronut after about 9am. It will be sold out. Tolerate the long line and try one of the other pastries (almond croissant, DKA, etc).

The Cronut Craze is going strong! The fried, crunchy outside and lightly layered inside with the sweet frosting changing monthly is mouthwatering. We’ll be back this July for the blackberry flavor.

I've never had a Cronut, but I'm pretty sure it's no better than the DKA. Think a croissant-palmier hybrid with a moist, bready-sweet nucleus.

If they want to keep selling their cronut @ $6 they should make sure it tastes better than a half-stale donut with cheap-syrup-tasting filling and ultra sugary glazing.

Cronuts. You'll be queueing for ages and have to get there early to even have a chance, but it's worth it.
