Quality seafood dinner & knowledgable server who showed me the best way to peel the shrimp! Loved the Rock shrimp, BayScallops and fried Cod. Corn fritters were tasty too.
Bacon wrapped shrimp. Oh my. Also had a perfect sweet potato with cinnamon butter. Broccoli and cauliflower were perfect as well. And those corn fritters...
If you're a local or used to visit the area and remember what Dixie used to be like you will be disappointed. Portions are smaller & art work outside covered up!
I live in Atlanta but I do try to make it here on each trip. Seems to get more expensive every trip; miss the days when I was a kid in these parts. But, the rock shrimp rock!
Rock shrimp and fritters, yum. They have a wholesaleseafoodmarket down the street that sells the rock shimp split and cleaned for your home eating pleasure.
Born and raised in Tville... They used to be AWESOME but then they gave up quality and quantity on plates and raised the prices... I take out of town friends to Corky Bells before here.
I think the waitress was insulted when I told her not to bring the fried dough to the table. Food was OK, I guess for the area it's great, the place was super busy, packed w/locals, eating fried dough
Decent seafood. I love the shellfish combo. This is basically the only decent restaurant in this crappy town. Worth the meal if you're driving through.
