- Love this place. The girls who work here r super cool, cute, chill. I'm into the dumplings and avocado toast. The lappi sandwich is delish too. Cute decor, good music playing almost always
- The pedestrian with ham added and an americano is a good simple breakfast. Always. Seat open. Feels European inside. I come here to sit in the sunlight and do work on my phone.
- Fodor's TravelSeptember 9, 2015The Soviet-era childhoods of its two owners inspired the food and decor of this casual coffeehouse that has impressed the neighborhood with its Russian-inflected lunch and brunch fare. Read more
- Kris BrooksMay 28, 2014Their buckwheat bowl is so good! I also love their teas! A nice selection and very unique! The staff is always friendly & chill vibes all around! Also free wifi :)
- Wendy PMarch 24, 2015The Pedestrian (croissant) is very popular here and it is indeed tasty and go along with a cup of coffee, perfect.
- Eliza HarrisMay 25, 2015Love this cute little space. It's never manic busy like some other Bushwick cafes and just has a cool, chilled out atmosphere. Avocado toast is delicious!
- The food, drinks and vibe are great. But the staff is consistently SO RUDE, I'm not sure I can willingly spend my money here again. Seriously, just smile one time and say thank you - that's all I ask!
- Jeff PetrielloMay 30, 2017The avocado toast with an egg goes well with the delicious Krokodil - a red eye with condensed milk - just be ready to wait 20 minutes for it to be ready.
- John BathJanuary 30, 2015Great environment with lots of natural light. The avocado toast is one of the must try dishes if you're going, but I also highly recommend the Cuban sandwich.
- Really good coffee. Really good food. Really good backyard. Avocado toast is A+. Lots of veggie/vegan items too if you're into that.
- Davy KeseyJanuary 13, 2017Uncrowded, bright, spacious, outside seating, wifi, and outlets. Coffee isn't drip, but they have espresso based drinks and a decent food variety. Spotty wifi though.
- That GirlDecember 18, 2016Good place to work. Nice tea selection, outdoor area. Chia pudding might be an entire bag of chips seeds and is overwhelming. You won't walk away hungry.
- Alex MillerJuly 26, 2015Good coffee and pastry selection. The pelmeni dumplings are good, but the buckwheat bowl is where it's at. Service can be slow at times.
- Lee PenderAugust 6, 2015The food and the decor is fantastic. Unfortunately the coffee is far inferior to nearby Little Skips or Swallow Cafe. The cold brew tasted acidic and had grounds in the bottom.
- Alexandra FanningNovember 10, 2016The coffee is good, the food is a little hit-or-miss. Used to really like The buckwheat bowl and then they changed chefs or something?
- recommend the foxy backyard and the buckwheat bowl (with egg)
- Decadence is a soft crumbly croissant with egg and melty lappi cheese
- Noah NormanAugust 24, 2016Creative Russian-influenced breakfasts here are very called for in the winter months.
- Lesley CorderoMay 4, 2016The avocado toast was pretty good! The after taste was a little funny, but in a good way. Definitely over priced though.
- Francisco ArteagaAugust 23, 2014The decor was great. I had the communist sandwich which was delicious, however their coffee was not good.
- Kyler RossApril 16, 2017Great food, terrible service. Seriously, a smile or something would be better than the consistently ice cold demeanor of what would seem to be every employee.
- These pelmeni aka Russian dumplings are dillicious. See what I did there.
- Margaret WolkAugust 7, 2015Overpriced food, bad service and an unwelcoming vibe from the staff... But, if you want to see cool decor I guess this place is good?
