Digitalizuj.Me: Nice little town, 75km northern from Podgorica. Accessible by car, bus or train. Ideal for skiing in winter time and very pleasant for summer vacation.
Digitalizuj.Me: You can begin your tour of National Park Biogradska Gora either from Kolasin, or from the shore of Biogradsko Lake, after spending the night in the park.
Digitalizuj.Me: If you decide to stay the night in the park, you have the wooden cottages with bungalows for sleeping (11.5 Eur per person) or a campsite in which you can pitch your tent (3 Eur for a small tent).
Digitalizuj.Me: Very nice place, and convenient breakfast spot if you have spent the night at the lake. Traditional cousine, good coffe, and a very good ice cream!
Digitalizuj.Me: After having breakfast at the restaurant, take a walk around the lake. You will find a table with information about the National Park’s flora and fauna, and some other interesting facts.
Digitalizuj.Me: While walking around the lake, you'll find a sign saying "Katun Goleš" and pointing towards the new hiking trail. This one will get you to the summer pasture Goleš.
Digitalizuj.Me: The hiking trail leading to Goleš is about 5km long and steep, but if you succeed it, you will see some of the most beautiful scenery in the rainforest, wild and unspoiled.
Digitalizuj.Me: Katun Goleš is a summer pasture located in a picturesque valley surrounded by woods. During the summer months, several farmers from Kolasin live here.
Digitalizuj.Me: Family Bulatović, who are the owners and the hosts of this eco pasture, offers excellent local food and refreshments. After a visit to a nearby lookout, you should stop here for some lunch.
Digitalizuj.Me: Lumer, one of the most beautiful lookouts in the NP Biogradska Gora, can be reached by following the marked hiking trail leading from Goleš summer pasture.
Digitalizuj.Me: From the top you will see Biogradska Gora, Kolasin and Mojkovac, and the slopes of Bjelasica under which these cities are located. This lookout is definitely worth a visit!
Digitalizuj.Me: In addition to seeing domestic animals that are usually found on such pastures, here you will also see tame rabbits that were (at least when it comes to our team) one of the main attractions here.
Digitalizuj.Me: We suggest that you travel by car from Goleš to Kolašin. Local taxi service can be reached by dialing number 19501, and this ride will cost 20-30 Eur.
Digitalizuj.Me: Great plate to finish your day at the National Park! Private Accommodation Bakić is widely known for its hospitality and some great home-made beverages. It is also very affordable.
