- Bebo GonzálezNovember 30, 2014Look for the Masonic secrets! They are all over, .... The floors, paintings, architecture....
- Airport is pretty and ok for casual traveler but sucks for business traveler. Takes 45 minutes frm gate to (Hertz Gold)rental car to on the road-surrounded by thousands of empty acres but cars offsite
- Brian FinkMay 19, 2012Waiting for your flight? Make the time go quicker with free dance music on your smartphone! Check out Club Phusion on the free iHeartRadio app!!
- Going to Boulder? Catch the RDP bus in the East Terminal, last row for a one-way fare of $13. Very similar to NYC bus shuttle service
- Val HJune 30, 2014Take Bridge Security instead of Terminal Security. Shorter wait times! And no crowded trams. The entrance is by the Frontier desks.
- Edimilson JuniorFebruary 21, 2015Clean and organized, but the stores are closed when you flight late at night.
- Huge airport... long lines In the am, but goes smooth.
- If you are on a courtesy shuttle and not checking bags get off on East side. With the construction avoid the detour that way
- Bryant RayMay 11, 2016TSA does very degrading searches on people that they think are problem people based on appearance and it's very wrong.
- Stop by the New Belgium Spoke by gate A61 for a quick pre-flight drink. We love Fat Tire!
- Jennifer KnowltonNovember 25, 2011Don't forget to grab a cup of coffee at Caribou Coffee! It's the best out there!!
- Be sure to check into the official Frontier Airlines terminal to receive special promo codes!
- Do not assume there will be a Starbucks or any coffee shop near your gate. Plan accordingly.
- When they say 'hold on' for the underground train, they mean it. Brace yourself for a falling bystander!
- If your on A Concourse use the walk bridge instead of the train!!
- Alex DobyanFebruary 10, 2015It's like most large airports - clean and modern, but crowded and not always convenient.
- Read the signage on the subway. Nobody wants to be the guy wondering down A concourse wondering where baggage claim is.
- Google the conspiracy theories about this airport. Did you know the blue bronco statue outside killed its creator? Crazy.
- Watch out for the 40% tax on rental cars and the Tollroad where you MUST have one of their payment boxes in the car or you will get a $400 fine. There are no signs to warn you. Shame on you Denver!!!
- The restrooms on the second floor of all of the concourses are sooooo much better.
- Never ever show up at DIA without a rental car reservation - The Colorado weather forces the locals rent cars leaving travelers stranded. There was no rental car in the entire Denver area on 6/14.
- Aleshia HowellDecember 1, 2011Wifi is less than stellar. Grab a cup of coffee at Caribou and leech off the Admirals Club!
- Tyler OlsonSeptember 14, 2011If your going to smoke on a layover go to mesa verda and get a bottle of water for 2.15 (you have to purchase somethung)
- Use Bridge Security Checkpoint. Fast and efficient!
- Yoshi Portuondo-DemberOctober 10, 2012JetBlue charges $2 for headphones- but just across the way at the Frontier Gate are headphones provided for FREE.
- Loooooooooooong walks, so give yourself a little extra time.
- Go to Jamba Juice as soon as you get out the plane, because you have been craving it since the you had Jamba & just could not wait any longer cause it is so yummy!
- Sara Lee Sandwhich shop is my favorite. By gate B54. Their default mustard us spicy though.
- Navigating through DEN is not fun at all as signage is awful, but the worst is navigating out. The airport is so far away from the city. Uber is 40+min/$60+. Train is only $10, but 2x time.
- Be sure to stop by Panda Express in the main terminal or Concourse A for Orange Chicken and Lo Mein.
- Pick your TSA line carefully! 1/3rd of the lines only have PornoScanners, so you're automatically selected for nekkid pictures or GropeyTime.
- Only North security for TSA Pre and Clear with TSA Pre
- Signs for transportation are lacking - need to take the tram that heads past terminal A if you are in B or C
- Sunny =)August 30, 2012Just watched a weird documentary on this airport-what is with the creepy/genocide/death artwork? I don't understand why they would have it. I believe in free speech but this is beyond that.
- Jenny SoxxMay 31, 2014renevations fine, but fix your AC. it's only 60 degrees outside but it's a sauna in here!
- Creepy airport with a lot of secrets and odd history
- If you're catching a red-eye flight, Chef Jimmy's Bistro in concourse A is opened late.
- concourse B typically has better food options. if you are flying out of A or C and have some extra time, consider riding the train to B just to eat!
- Drink DenverOctober 11, 2012Hanging out in Denver for a bit? Check out http://drinkdenver.com for bar listings, drink specials, and bar reviews!
- The cops that are posted up at arrival pickup and passenger drop off have slowed everything up! Expect traffic when pulling into these areas now
- Worst airport queing method for having so much land. Basically 2 areas for security (third for terminal a), it's best guess which line to take. And crapshoot how long it'll take.
