Me & C went all around South Africa for our honeymoon in Oct 2014 (Cape Town, Franschhoek, Phinda, Mozambique beaches). Amazing trip, highly recommended.

Dens: Hey tourist! I 1000% recommend hiking Lion's Head! The view is amazing & it'll only take you 2-3 hrs (vs. all day for Table Mtn). Don't fear the "harder path". ps: Bonus pts if it's your honeymoon!
Dens: One of the best steaks I've ever had in my life. Even if you're in Cape Town for a handful of days, go out of your way to hit this spot.(Bernaise sauce overload FTW!)

Dens: Great place for a late night cocktail. Don't fear the rowdy locals or the lonesome tourists. Make some friends! Go at nigh, grab a seat outside & stare at the stars over Table Mountain.

Dens: Was highly rec'd, but we thought it was just "eh". Normally don't leave so-so Foursquare tips, but you can do better. Maybe skip the meal and get a cocktail on the deck.
Dens: Do this. It's awesome even if you are scared shitless of sharks. Chances are you'll leave MORE scared shitless of sharks. Know why? BECAUSE ALL OF THE SHARKS WANT TO EAT OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME!
Dens: If you find yourself waaay out in Franschhoek, don't snooze on this spot. After an epic lunch, walk it off in the gardens. DO NOT SNOOZE ON THE BILTONG (jerky) in the gift shop. So so so so good.
Dens: Phinda is amazing. Just go. Ask for Luke, the best guide the planet has ever seen (and tell him Chelsa and Dennis from NYC said hi!) Ask him to go on a hike and be in awe of his bird calling skills.

Dens: Great place for some maxin' & relaxin' on the last days of your honeymoon. At low tide, go and explore all the tide pools to the right of the resort & bring back seashells for your nieces & nephews!
