Fantastic spot in Soho for afternoon tea. A classy environment without feeling too stuffy. Ask for a table in the back room which features a fireplace and a homey feel.
Had a lovely afternoon tea here for a friend's birthday. Very friendly staff and very cosy interior. There was a good selection of yummy cakes and the freshly baked scones were delicious.
If I was going to open a restaurant, it'd be exactly like DST. Unassuming yet homey, comfortable environment, delicious food, great service and a great bar complete w/6 diff kinds of bloody marys.
Very good for cocktails. The bartender are all super nice and will be more than happy to give you advices. Also they were not pushing us to consume more so you can take your time to sip your drink
A little stuffy for our taste and we weren't sure if our server spoke or not. The soho mule was excellent and our burger was phenomenal. The best meal we had in London easily.
If you’re looking for a classic Britishbrunch, Dean Street Townhouse is a wonderful to do it. They also have an all day breakfast on weekends! We recommend trying the Townhouse Burger.
We ordered the standard, fish and chips and burger, both great meals. But the highlight of our visit was the 'Choco bomb' cherry/chic desert... AMAZING!!
Loved staying here. Great staff, beautiful room, superb service and toiletries selection. Delicious breakfast! Unfortunately noisy A/C and some hum prevented me from perfect sleep.
Food was good standard. British food nothing fancy, but tasty. Great wine selection and cocktails were great. Atmosphere and ambience was10. Would go back
Ask for the vegetarian menu, and if your vegan they'll let you know what your options are. I just had the Jerusalem artichoke soup and harvest plate. So good.
attentive service, great food, excellent drinks menu if you are in the mood for a boozylunch. Great atmosphere and interiors. Book early though... cannot recommend enough!
CN Traveller says: "Afternoon tea for £19.50. The Townhouse Tea includes finger sandwiches, scones and éclairs, and old-school cakes such as lemon-drizzle and Battenberg."
Rooms are comfortable and stylish. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Have them help you get a table outside at the restaurant. It's faster than getting on the list!
With a Georgian decor and vintage armchairs and chandeliers, the Dean Street Townhouse restaurant serves comfy seasonal British cuisine sourced from producers in the UK and Ireland.
Porterhouse steak for 2 cooked medium-rare is where it's at! Staff are polite but found it hard to get their attention when we needed stuff. The parlour is awesome for a more chilled evening too!

The restaurant, with wooden floors and cut glass chandeliers has the atmosphere of a Gentleman's club. Overall, it felt a quintessentially British experience.
Still has cockroaches... I told the staff, they didn't do anything about it - maybe it's normal for here. I'm not sure I'd pay that price for the food if I knew there were cockroaches running around.
The menu is great, almost comically Brit retro. The hero dish is mince and potatoes, as stark a confection as it sounds. Metro gave it 5 out of 5 Stars. Read more
