Secret sushi tip: head to the back sushi station and you can ask for a sashimi platter. Any 7 pieces of fish you want and they make it on the spot. Amazing service and super nice sushi makers too!
Iif you're about drop $13 on a pre-packaged salad STOP, WALK OUT, and walk 3 blocks east to Parm on Mulberry between Prince & Spring and get their $14 chopped salad ($1 more and 100x more delicious!)
It has become a commercial thing, and i'm pretty sure there are best options in NY, but it is a must go place. You need to experience the crowd, and sit with a view of the street, it is fun.

Everything is good! It's definitely not an everyday stop since it's a little pricey but I've never had anything I didn't like from here. Try the chicken tenders if you stop in.

Odd place for a market. Quality meats, cheeses and a nice variety of other food goods. No bathroom which truly sucks especially with the opportunity to eat a meal and drink beverages.

There is this one fellow there with glasses and curly hair that arguably is the happiest, most energetic human being I've ever seen. He makes coffee like he's performing a piano sonata.
Good sushi and soup. I would stay clear of the prepared food and coffee shop. I've had $11 salmon that was not cooked and the kale salad is super salty. I also wasn't a fan of their coffee.
They no longer have pretzel rolls!!! You should complain so the exec chef brings them back. How can you make it through winter w/soup and no pretzel roll?
