This place is a GEM!!! Perfect for a family with a few children. A fun, creative menu, and they'll adapt it to your needs/choice. We had the brunch menu and it was fantastic!
Hearty portion and reasonably priced. Restaurant week is not even needed since their menu is already pretty expansive and well priced. Dessert is a must!
The summer deal is amazing - 25 for three courses. I had the salmon tartare, steak milanese, and market berries. Spot on flavor, texture, and service. Also you can sit outside, and enjoy the breeze.
Their chicken thigh pot pie is a must, especially in the brutal New York winter. Also the salmon tartar and lobster soup. The cheesecake lollipops are too sweet but cut to look at.
Request to sit at the garden upstairs. Beautiful when the weather is nice, and much quieter than downstairs. The short rib was phenomenal. The monkey bread was TO DIE FOR. Enough for 4 people!
The Urban Garden at David Burke Kitchen is a hidden treasure - and the Garden Iceberg Sorbet Cocktail, a cube of sorbet topped off with table side poured prosecco, is a must try this summer.
The classic vanilla bean crème brûlée gets a seasonal twist from executive pastry chef Tracy Wilk with the addition of summery strawberry rhubarb jam and lemon thyme cookies.
Short rib and the pork chop are both great. The duck special and the foie gras potted duck were just okay. Octopus app is very good. The pecan pie with bourbon ice cream and the red velvet cake also👌
Great selection of starters - make sure to taste them all. Steak quality is superb with a nice cut and well aged. Deserts are amazing - go for the Monkeybread or the Cheescake Lollipops.
Gluttony has met its match. So indulgent but utterly delicious. Great wait staff, lobster w/ lavender Brussel sprouts is delish. Monkey bread dessert is incredible but large serving - good for 4+.
Generous portions but the bread basket and appetizers are the best part of the meal - the pretzel crab cakes, lobster dumpling soup and burrata, asparagus and prosciutto are good; skip the lamb chops
I absolutely love this place. It's great in NY and in Chicago. The 55 day dry aged porterhouse for two is a meat-gasm. Order it medium rare, and it order the beef fat jalapeno fries and asparagus!
restaurant week lunch is a great value. don't miss tuna tartare tacos. softshell crab BLT is impossible to eat without a mess, tasty. strawberry shortcake parfait has layers of confetti birthday cake!
It has the same problem that all of David Burke's places have: everything is fantastic and creative except for the entrees. His main courses are just uninspired, so just order more jars!
Order the Sweet Treats plate and you’ll get signature mini doughnuts and three mini ice cream sandwiches. The sandwich flavors change weekly, with combos such as popcorn ice cream and corn shortbread.
uests watch cooks assemble creative variations such as a black-and-white pancake with vanilla and chocolate fondant ($10), and a savory pastrami-salmon twist that tops three buttermilk discs.

Preztel Crab cakes, a must. Short Rib Cavetelli, phenomenal. Monkey Bread with Ice Cream outstanding. I'm a fatty the day after, bit I enjoyed my meal. Oh and cap the night w/a shot of absinthe.
indoor/outdoor seating, great service, and the food is good. some suggestions: scallops & pork belly, short rib cavatelli, ocean cocktail jar, and pay attention to the daily specials.
I was thoroughly impressed. Short rib on the mac n cheese is one of the better dishes I have ever had. Biggest surprise? The whipped cream that came with the cake pop tree. Wow. Amazing.
The Bitches Say: A-. Some of the dishes at David Burke's Kitchen—like the French toast and crab cake pretzel—were remarkable, while others were mediocre. Winner of the 2013 Best Hotel Brunch Award!
Try the unconventional ants on a log. Roasted and split marrow bones studded with garlicky Pernod-and-fennel-butter-drenched snails. It’s one of our #100best dishes and drinks of 2011. Read more
Try the Salmon With Pureed Parsnip And Bacon With Brussel Sprouts - RARE in every way - one of the best pieces of salmon I've had in my very salmon-filled life.
Burger and fries are a delicious choice. If you get the burger - flip it over immediately. Otherwise the bottom of the English muffin will get all soggy :(
